Why reincarnation was edited out of Christianity?

I personally believe firmly in both reincarnation as well as resurrection……. Resurrection is most relevant to all of us because it is us….. our identity…. our memories……. our personality…….. John the Baptist was unique and separate from Elijah and both of them are in a heaven…….. but if John the Baptist had been hypnotized by a qualified hypnotherapist of his time period….. I believe that he would have seen the life of Elijah with astonishing accuracy if he had been regressed nine centuries or so?!

Sorry buddy but I have to disregard your comments for several reasons.

First, since the God character has zero interest in allowing man to gain eternal life and become immortal like him he would never allow reincarnation or resurrection.

Second, since the Bible says that the only being who has ever gone to heaven was Jesus that makes every else's claims falls or the Bible a lie. Of course since angels were always around they must have had a one way ticket or else the writer lied. Jesus claimed to have met Moses and Elijah (Luke 9:30) so they must have been wandering the Earth although Moses had been buried somewhere. He must be the original zombie.

Anyway, the point is that if a person professes to believe in the Biblical fairy tale it's silly for him to believe some clown who claims to have gone to heaven. So based upon the fairy tale Pastor Rick Joyner is full of B.S.

Yom Kippur/The Rapture connection?!

.......My dad, Robert Tate died on January 1, 1990. He had NOT given his heart to Rabbi Jesus/Yahushua so far as I knew.

Around that time I ran into the near death experience accounts through an article in Psychology Today. As I read several books by Dr. Raymond Moody I went into something of a philosophical/theological crisis as I encountered evidence that the "soul sleep" doctrine that I had been taught by evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong and his dad had almost certainly been terribly in error!

I had been fasting on Yom Kippur since the late 1970's and I had always wondered what this verse could possibly mean:


"but the goat on which the lot fell for Aza'zel shall be presented alive before the LORD to make atonement over it, that it may be sent away into the wilderness to Aza'zel."(Leviticus 16:10 RSV)

......In a nutshell I have came to strongly suspect that Azazel is the fallen angel who will be somewhat like General Abner who brought the ten tribes over to King David or to Rav Shaul/Paul who repented of persecuting Christians and followers of God.

I suspect that when the fallen angel Azazel returns to the God of Abraham with his whole heart...when Yom Kippur is completely fulfilled....then a major step will have been taken toward the ushering in of a truly new era of worldwide peace where even the eating habits of wild animals like lions will be altered!

Seems silly to many Non-jewish Christians because the final thrust of the End Days for Israel to accept Christ as the Elijah, returned in 32AD.

Both Christ and Elijah did the same things, a second time in the New Testament,... because that was ti be the way Jews would recognize that Elijah had returned.

The Tradition of the Seven Miracles of Elijah had listed miracles which must be accomplisned when Elijah returned.
One of those referred to the Cross as the scepter Christ would receive from God, for instance.

But Christ did two dozen more exact things as described in 1Kings about Elijah, too.

 

Jews and Muslims have different versions of the End Times. Are they less valid than the various versions of so many Christian sects???

 

Your link describes the difference between "resurrection of the mind" and the "reincarnation of the body," separating the two ideas.
Our bodies do not return according to scripture, but Truth returns housed by the experiences contained inside the Unconscious mind.
This is a genetic consequence and one of the "secrets" that Jesus must have explained as best possible 2000 year ago.


In regard to Zerubbabel and his hands:

We need re-discover the use of the hands by the earliest priests in Judaism.
