    A long way to go.

But, Trump is taking bad advice if he thinks stonewalling is an optimal strategy.

Nope, what the Russians have said privately in Europe is that "contacts were indeed made" with Russian hackers to infiltrate the Democrat email system and the hackers were told where to go and who to track.

The Russkies tried to do the same prior to the French election (for President) here last week, but the French had had prior information from stateside and were able to hold the Russian hackers at bay.

We shall see - this story is just breaking. (Donald should be talking to his lawyers ...)

So, no one but Comey has this evidence that will sink Trump? Comey isn't going to still testify in a few days? What do you think Comey being fired is going to do to effect anything?

So, it's a simple thing. If there is, and it's a big if, then appropriate law enforcement engagement is necessary. There is nothing hard, or magic about this. What is enormously entertaining though is the level of acceptance that liberals seem perfectly willing to actively work to undermine the results of an election using these assertions of illegality as a cover for their unwillingness to accept the peaceful transfer of power.

So, from all quarters, we hear, read, are told "Trump and "Watergate like" activities". Which frankly is laughable at best. I'm certain that liberals/democrats wish this were the case, and yet, well, it just simply doesn't rise to the level of conspiracy that lead to the resignation of mr Nixon. And yet, the hyperbole surrounding the national liberal narrative would have all of us believe this in fact is the case. Again, laughable.

Truly more laughable is the assertion that our liberal participants are engaging in this activity on "behalf of the nation" as has been asserted by every national liberal mouthpiece to date. Really? Lying, slandering, libeling the president is good for us? Well, at least their behavior hasn't actually damaged anyone yet.

So, the burden of proof belongs to the accusers in this case. It would appear that they are certainly willing to do anything and spend all the money they can extort from their base to continue attacking this president. In the long run, the public will reject their obvious behavior and their narrative. But, let's don't cut off this narrative too soon. It's instructive. It demonstrates just how uncivil the left are and it only continues to provide ample evidence of it for public consumption.

At some point, this just becomes unsubstantiated libel. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with that word. You should perhaps educate yourself. Honestly, having a state (France) decide that they have the power to directly censor the press, it seems less egalitarian every day. But you seem to like that. Funny, huh?

Stonewalling is all he knows how to do in a complex situation.

This guy wanted to be PotUS because there was no higher place to "go", and he was bored with his silly TV-game (You're fired!). He inherited from his father $50M whilst in his forties, and played it into his present fortune in real-estate. Good for him! Hats off!

But how in hell does that bit of success make you presidential material? The American people saw him for what he was - a big-talking charlatan. They preferred Hillary.

But an antiquated election device called an "Electoral College" saw otherwise. Trump lost the popular-vote election, the only real criterion for being a PotUS ...

Could be. Guess we'll have to see if any evidence turns up to make it so.

I know... Since my comment doesn't push an agenda....

Point to the Trump act. Anytime. Waiting. Anxiously.

There is no other developed country that employs an Electoral College (consisting of "nominated electors" disproportionate to the voting population.)

This is a map of the US Electoral College state by state:

From here: Population vs. Electoral Votes
Also, have a look at the map in the above link that answers this question: How Much Clout Did a Voter in Your State Have in the Electoral College?

Forget Hillary and her emails ... this is Kindergarden in comparison to what is coming up here and when I saw this morning the interview of this idiotic Trainee in White House in US TV, I'm more and more convinced that a real Watergate 2.0 is popping up here!

Honestly... I must only look in my continent to see that there are relations of populists and / or their parties comparable to Russia. And even the gangster in Ankara is cuddling with Putin suddenly ...

The facts of any matter take time to be corroborated.

They will inevitably "out". By hook or by crook.

There is already a precedent that is amazingly similar to what is happening presently, called "the Watergate Scandal" ... ?

Oh give it a rest will you? You set up the system you want to elect your president and we'll keep ours. It worked perfectly fine until her majesty was supposed to be coronated and had the rug pulled out from under her. The left just loves to change the rules to suit themselves.

The parallels are uncanny, the opposition party was in the majority at the time however.
