    The Oscars is some sort of movie award where people who are typically left wing get together and stroke each other about how great they are.... It's supposed to be a big deal then we're all supposed to care about it.

    I heard the former LA DA today saying that this might not be over that it is not up to the police whether to charge him with a crime, they only arrest people, the DA would make the decision. That being said the current DA does not like to charge ANYONE with crime.

    after all this is said and done, only one thing will be for sure

    on march 27th 2022 Will Smith won his LAST academy award!!

    my guess is he will join Kevin Spacy on the list of despicable actors and be blackballed from hollywood

    but smith is sitting on millions ..he will be fine

    Yeah, the crime is memorialized on tape; zero need for the victim to do anything and the DA can absolutely file charges on behalf of the people of the state. Assault is a crime, heck, Rock can have a concussion from it (worst case scenario). I would expect if it went to court and Smith was found guilty, he'd likely no spend any time in jail but do the fine/community hours thing.
    I have a really nice farm in the swamp for sale :D
