    I think I've only had wines from the US. But then Im not a conoiseur of wine and dont pay a lot of attention to what it is or where its from like I might for a good beer or scotch. The most enjoyable wine I ever had was a sweet, fruity ice wine. I recall it being very thick and syrupy for a wine. I think it was this:

    Nobody needs to be a connaisseur of wine to enjoy a glass of wine now and then.
    We are no wine snobs here, we just enjoy some wine. :)

    I often have had wine from Israel in the local synagogue here. :)
