    sticks and stones.
    [QUOTE[
It's not any different than bullying students for other reasons (ie from another country, fat shaming, skin color, religion, ethnic foods, etc.). And, the child that was hurt by this can also be ruined because he or she will be treated according to how this incident impacted the offending child's life. Why is that the offending child's pain any more significant than the offended child's pain?[/QUOTE] I don't think we should be training kids to be so pathetic and weak that they fall to pieces every time someone says words they don't like. It's a cruel cruel world they'll have to learn sticks and stones sooner or later.

We should be changing kids to be resilient and if they fall to pieces because of words then they probably need some psychological help.
I understand I was a kid once too and I was made fun of for things that I took very personally and when I cried my little eyes out and I went home to my mom and dad and told them they said sticks and stones.

And now I'm not a crying little *****. I thank my parents for that.
calling a person names does it take away Liberty.

You don't have the right not to be made fun of. It's best to learn how to be strong other than placate this brokenness.
I think the point here is that it's fake this isn't sexual harassment to tease somebody for being transgender. This idea that words are violence is a concept fabricated by cards of weaklings and broken people and these people shouldn't be in charge of anything they have severe mental disabilities.

I absolutely agree with you. However, we would be remiss to say that none of that supposedly "good natured ribbing" didn't impact the "butt of our jokes" in a harmful way.

We can't speak out about "the sanctity of life" (amid anti-abortion) while haphazardly deciding which of those of lives should and should not have a harder road to travel.

It is never the task of the offender to decide what is offensive.

Yes, but being offended doesn’t make one right. It’s arbitrary and pointless. Nothing is really harmful if you don’t give it the power.
That’s what we should be teaching people, not the opposite. Now call me a f** so I can prove it! lol

Again, I agree with you but that only looks good on paper.

For example, how many people are offended (and convinced) that **millions** of people voted illegally for Biden to win the 2020 election?

How many people are offended that Ashli Babbitt was shot "unfairly" but all the black and brown people that have done less to antagonize the LEOs *deserved* to be killed?

How many people are offended that some people want to include a school curriculum that provides information about ALL the people that contributed to the birth of our nation?

How many people are offended that other people in the country aren't the way they **should** look, love or worship?

For the people on the other side of the above equations, it's offensive.
For those on the other side, it's acceptable.

In a metaphysical sense, this is accurate.

In a people-feel-the-way-they-feel-and-it-hurts-to-be-rejected, it is not.

This philosophy blames the victim for being hurt for things that are intended to BE hurtful.
Again, I agree. It would be absolutely wonderful if we could help everyone understand and embrace "words don't hurt".

But, they do. Otherwise, there would be no reason to have any discussions about the ramifications of what causes harm to others.

There is absolutely no harm in telling a "chunky" person they are not fat.
There is absolutely no harm in telling a "crazy" person they are a bit "eccentric".
There is absolutely no harm in telling someone their life has **value** even when we think they are the most useless waste of oxygen on the planet.

This is not about not hurting someone else's feelings. This is about respecting the fact that every person born or naturalized as American citizens have the exact same rights that we do.

We don't have to like it.
We don't have to love it.
We don't have to understand it.
We don't have to accept it.
We don't have to embrace it.
We don't have to do a damn thing except they have the same rights we all do.

Nobody is asking you to invite them over for dinner.
Nobody is asking you to agree with them.
Nobody is asking you to accept them.
Nobody is asking you to understand.

ALL they are asking is to not be disrespected. That's it. There is no more effort involved beyond basic human respect.

Or, the flip side is...clear...Do you want anyone else telling you how you should be be, look, love and/or worship? If not, why not? It is within that "fuzzy" area that every single person born (or naturalized) in this country lives.

What if I find it offensive to NOT assume my gender?

For instance I was asked the other day what my pronouns are. I find that EXCESSIVELY offensive that someone claims they can’t look at me and tell I’m a man.

So do I get to get butthurt and demand everyone stop questioning what other peoples pronouns are?

And since both assuming and not assuming what someone’s pronouns are is offensive… who gets to decide which group gets screwed? The ones who find it offensive to assume or the ones who find it offensive to not assume?

    1. Get a new schtick.
    2. Learn what a source is.

    Fox News isn't the source.

Also, according to the definition, using the wrong pronouns is in no way sexual harassment.

Sorry, there's nothing sexual about calling someone by pronouns different from their preference.

LoL.... I was asked the question at the doctor's office. Scary times indeed. Thousands of years of human existence and suddenly the most educated people on the planet can't figure out what sex people are by simple examination. This particular issue is a civilization destroyer. It is Lysenkoism and it is the basest and most destructive of all evils.

Bullying other kids can also damage the bullied kids for life. That doesn't matter to you?
I don't know if this sex harrassment charge will hold or not. It doesn't appear criminal, just an offense within the school.
I hope the offending students get something for bullying.

It's not up to you. If you don't want to use it, don't, but trying to impose your desires on others is exactly the problem with trannies like in this article.

Every single thread is always viewed by you in a race form. Try not thinking everything in the world is race related.

LOL. Try hurting snowflakes feelings on this website. They will run to the mods with a report so fast it makes ones head spin.

What life was like in the past isn't always of reflection of present and future.
The only constant in life is change.

    ...
    Male, female and transgender brains
“The male and female brain have structural differences,” he says. Men and women tend to have different volumes in certain areas of the brain.

“When we look at the transgender brain, we see that the brain resembles the gender that the person identifies as,” Dr. Altinay says. For example, a person who is born with a penis but ends up identifying as a female often actually has some of the structural characteristics of a “female” brain.

And the brain similarities aren’t only structural.

“We’re also finding some functional similarities between the transgender brain and its identified gender,” Dr. Altinay says.

It’s nice to see you finally acknowledging they have a neurological defect that needs medical care.

Often times it's hormone therapy and for some, gender reassignment surgery.
Glad you agree they need medical care also.

But I've been posting that link in these forums for weeks now.

Is this where you will bring up that you have no problem putting blacks back in chains?
Even though this thread is not about race at all.

    Did you read the story?

“But Rabidoux said her son was merely sticking up for one of his friends.

"She had been screaming at one of Braden’s friends to use proper pronouns, calling him profanity, and this friend is very soft-spoken, and kind of just sunk down into his chair," Rabidoux said. "Braden finally came up, defending him, saying ‘He doesn’t have to use proper pronouns, it’s his constitutional right to not use, you can’t make him say things.’"”

The transgender was bullying the other kid.

No but it’s funny you mention that because I was going to quote this:

“LOL. Try hurting snowflakes feelings on this website. They will run to the mods with a report so fast it makes ones head spin.”

    And reply with:

“You mean like jumping into threads over and over again and bringing up a quote because it hurt your wittle feewings and you wanna make sure everyone else sees it too? And then get butthurt again when I don’t cower away from it like you expected?”

I’d be willing to bet you got that link from the discussion I had with you and someone else months ago about whether or not they’re born that way or it’s a decision. I was arguing they have a mental disorder. And I sourced a story showing that homosexuals brains are wired more like a woman. They have a neurological defect.

Furthermore your “solutions” are not treatment. They exacerbate the underlying neurological defect. Therefore they are the ANTITHESIS to treatment for those individuals.

No, we won't be forced to go along with pretending a girl is a boy or vice versa.

If you don't want to be "mis-gendered", then stop pretending to be something you're not.

You have offended me by being an offender.

Now, under the rules of you being the offender, you must refer to me as "majesty".

You can also refer to me as "your majesty", "honorable one", and "grand poobah".

I await your concession. Please respect my truth and how I prefer to be referred to. Do not re-offend.
