He's in this video, and he says her divisive comments were against company values.

Free speech? This lady was harassing, cussing at, implying violence, threatening violence and threatening continued harassment at the man's home, threatening to find and confront his wife, children, friends and business associates. She asserted that she wouldn't cease her quest and was actively enlisting others to confront the man his relatives and associates. She cussed using confrontational sentence structure (fighting words) intending to provoke him by threatening his safety and the safety of his friends and family.

She followed through with her threats and broadened her attack by using print and electronic media. This is terroristic threatening behavior, stalking and harassment. It may be elder abuse as well.

At minimum the lady needs to be charged to both memorialize the criminal behavior and to assertain if she has a history of criminal stalking and harming others. The courts will most certainly hold her for a psychological evaluation.

We're well beyond a free speech issue, this lady is displaying some serious mental health issues and violent criminal behavior.

He kind of beat me to it - although I was also gonna mention that nutjob Adam Smith - the former CFO who chewed out a Chick Fil-A drive-thru employee just because she worked there - you can read the story HERE about when last we heard of him the poor schmuck was on food stamps. I'm sure many people here could come up with other stories, starting with Marge Schott on, regarding people who also exercised their 1A rights only to end up being fired. The 1A only states that CONGRESS shall make no law abridging Freedom of Speech. Falcon, unless you can make a good argument that her job IS Congress, you don't have a case. Freedom of Speech - it doesn't mean Freedom from Consequences.

 

Here we go again. Freedom of speech my A**. The first Amendment constrains the government. It does not force private employers to employ people who express opinions/views, or otherwise act in a manner that is not compatible with the image or branding of a private company. Do they teach anything about the Constitution in school anymore? Apparently not. Passing a Government class used to be a requirement for a high school diploma.

Obviously, certain cases of termination such as those involving civil rights laws and so forth, are grounds for a wrongful termination action -- but no employer is required to maintain the employment of someone in a case like the one we are discussing.

 

This very question was recently addressed in this thread or some other thread I read tonight. The TDS deranged loons see six more years of Trump as six more years they will be stuck working in a minimum wage crap job. And six more year of paying on the student loans they took out to get their gender studies degree. In their minds, someone like Bernie means everything will be free.
