Not at all, Hummingbird, and I never said that. You paragrpah about domestic violence as pretending to characterize my position is a lie.

I simply believe that blaming the victim, absent any evidence other than the testimony of the murderer, is wrong. In this particular case, there was some evidence of violence. In many cases there is none except the testimony of the murderer.

Your rejection of this position speaks volumes about your attitude towards men.

I asked you this question and instead of answering it, you go on the defensive....

"So are you saying there isn't any such thing as domestic violence, that women are never threatened w/death from their abusive husbands, that there is never any justification for a woman to defend herself?"

    And I said this.....

"Your last sentence speaks volumes about your attitude towards women...."

Because you said this....."But, we all know that all women are loving, sensitive creatures who cannot tell a lie"

"ALL"? That's what I was questioning .... "we ALL know that ALL women" speaks of an attitude or can't you see that?

No, we ALL know that SOME women are killers of their own children and non-abusive husbands for the insurance $ and other reasons.......

And btw, I don't have an attitude towards men - only those who beat their wives and children and molest/rape children.......

Oh, and speaking about kids - you said "In this case, the adult children testified to an "abusive" home......."

As we ALL know, quotations marks on a particular word suggest that the writer is questioning the credibility of the word........

I didn't reply to your post to offend you or accuse - I said I was surprised at what I read and questioned you about it, thinking you'd clarify what you meant if I had misunderstood any of it......

Now it sounds like I had hit a nerve..........

Nonsense. You response was intended to offend and accuse. You weren't honest enough to just say it and you're still not.

Do you deny it is often a matter of blaming the victim? Blaming a victim you killed and who can't defend himself? And, counting on a jury believing your unsubstantiated claim about abuse? Can you deny any of that? Are you seriously suggesting that when women kill their husbands it's always in self-defense? Are you rejecting the psychological abuse claim and going with self-defense?

When a woman kills her husband and then tesitfies what a bastard he was, isn't that a classic case of blaming the victim?

    911 operator: “ 911, what’s your emergency?”

Caller: “My husband has been shot eight times, I think he’s dead!”

    911 operator: “are you sure?”

    Caller: “Err, just a moment…. (3 shots ring out)… yes, I’m sure.”

Wow..... so now you claim to be a mind reader? Look, bubba, you don't know a dam thing about me, so climb down off your pedestal and take your self-righteousness and shove it! You have your dam nerve questioning anyone's honesty when you can't even recognize a question asked and reply accordingly, just to clear up any possible misunderstanding, which I tho't maybe I had, but wanted to make sure......

And I never once suggested when women kill their husbands, it's always in self-defense - don't know where you got that stupid crap from......

Some women have killed their husbands simply b/c they're evil and greedy and there's a big life insurance policy waiting and very few get by w/it....

So, no reply or explanation to your statement "But we all know that all women are loving, sensitive creatures who cannot tell a lie"...... figures.

Thanks for letting me know what a jerk you really are....you sure had me fooled.....
