Didn't say that Sam. Golly you're so funny when you get all excited about convoluting the truth. ""The so-called Palmer Report on the Israeli raid of May 2010 that killed nine Turkish activists said earlier this month that Israel had used unreasonable force in last year's raid, but its naval blockade of the Hamas-ruled strip was legal. "" The other report said it was illegal. The Palmer report trumps the other one as it was commissioned by the SG while the other was a group of five independent people rreporting to one of the councils.
The Palmer report was created by Jews to cover up their war criminality. It is akin to taking Dahmer's side when debating if it is OK to eat children. BOTTOM LINE: Under the 1949 Geneva Conventions, collective punishment is a war crime.
Sam, I love it when you come out all flushed up like you just had a pep rally in the echo chamber! It condemns Israel for their actions but simply states the blockade was legal. As for 'Jews' are you going to argue that the Colombian and Turkish reps were Jewish at the time? IOWs, you're wrong. What a silly thing to say. Right. But as you know, blockades are legal in time of war so are therefore not war crimes.
So how come they support Hamas who practice all of the above ? Are they that stupid ? - - - Updated - - - BOTTOM LINE: Under the 1949 Geneva Conventions, Calling for genocide of the Jews is a crime against humanity. Preventing it, but building a fence and stopping the criminals from getting enough weapons is self defense.
SOS VIDEO MESSAGES FROM THE WOMENS BOAT TO GAZA SOS video messages were released by the Freedom Flotilla group after the all women crew members were reportedly intercepted and taken by Israeli forces en route to the shores of Gaza. Shortly before the release of the videos, Al Jazeera reported that the activists were expected to be detained and taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod, then deported. Contact President Barack Obama (202) 456-1111 Contact Secretary John Kerry kerryj@state.gov or (202) 647-4000 Unlike other nations that have women on the boat, we Americans provide military equipment to Israel that may very well have been used against Ann and our international friends. Please ask Secretary Kerry and President Obama to demand Israel immediately release the women and that they do an investigation on the incident as there are a number of troubling circumstances that are against US and international law. And dont forget to say that the blockade on Gaza must end. The videos can be seen here: https://desertpeace.wordpress.com/2016/10/06/sos-video-messages-from-the-womens-boat-to-gaza/
They knew they would never be allowed through and are only looking for media attention. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
None whatsoever. People are entitled to express their opinions and I respect that right. OTOH, I don't have to respect the opinion itself.
WoW... what's with the SOS message? After reading your headline, I was expecting to find these misguided, clueless shiksas were threatened by Muslim pirates or something. As it is, they were expected to be deported? - - - Updated - - - Certainly.
Well, that ended as expected. The only 'flotilla' that's going to reach Gaza is one with some military backing.
But it was no sure thing once Pink Floyd became involved. Somehow, despite this enormous pressure by the famed rock group, Israel didn't buckle. "Wendy Goldsmith, a member of the land team working to secure the release of the women stated that, “the deportation is happening much quicker than in previous flotillas. While we had a great legal team assisting the women, we suspect that the reason for the quick release was because of all the negative media attention Israel has been receiving for its illegal interception, including the demand of rock band Pink Floyd.” http://www.globalresearch.ca/gaza-f...rted-details-emerge-about-the-capture/5549736
Gazans may try to stop rocketing Israel and see if this helps to lift the so called "blockade". My bet it will.
More proof that these types are clueless. They drive past hospitals and homeless people on the street every day and do nothing. Yet, they have the 'brave fortitude' to cross the seas and help the needy in a faraway land. Hypocrites, the lot of them!
They're unlikely to make the same trip to any other Mid East country. It's much easier to be bold and valiant knowing that the Israelis will always treat them firmly, kindly, and then send them home unharmed.
What is the issue? Are they claiming that there are fewer human rights in Israel than in other Mid East nations? That there are fewer women's right's? Worse schools? No free speech? Attacking democracies are for adolescents who enjoy pretending they are doing something brave, but they would never do the same against a country where genuine dangers exist.
