inequality happens, but not because evil men want women to be paid less.

Also, your race fetish has been noted.

Then what did you mean about being an obedient mommy wife?

I don't have a race fetish and your attempt at flamebait has been noted.

I never said that inequality happened because evil men want women to be paid less. Do you HAVE to be dishonest?

I said that if you're a white male you probably haven't suffered from getting less pay than the person doing the same job so you really don't know or have experience with that problem....was that plain enough for you?

In the 60's women were hired for "women's jobs" and men were hired for "men's jobs" and guess which paid more? And women didn't have a choice in which job they applied for.
Where I worked there was a list of "women's jobs" and "men's jobs" and guess which paid less?

Until the Equal Pay Act companies could do what they wanted but it didn't come screaming to a halt .....there are still vestiges left with cave dwellers who , if they can get away with it, DO IT.

    Try reading what I wrote:

""Of course your gender isn't an obstacle when you fit perfectly into the stereotype of an obedient mommy/ housewife""

It isn't anyone's fault that some people ignore the fact that pay inequality has been proven false. This is a fact. There is no big wage gap.

Actually you didn't say much at all so you left alot to my interpretation, but now that you did say something i noticed you said there are still vestiges, so what you are saying is that a few percentage of women are still being descriminated against because they are woman, there's already a law that makes it ilegal to descriminated based on gender so what other laws should be passed? That descriminating against women is ilegal and this time around they really mean it?

But again, this minority of women who are being discriminated against, take it to the courts, quit your job, start your own company and pay whatever you want to your employees. As for women who are getting paid less today, and not from the 60's are getting paid less because they're worth less. Women making more money than men won't be crying much about it, because maybe they figured out that being a valuable asset to your company is better than pandering to the state to do something about it.

Everyone has to find others to blame for their problems - that is the American way. Seeking pity declaring yourself a victim.

Male models and pornstars get paid less than their female collegues, when will they have the right to make the same?? Why are people against the rights of male models and pornstars? i don't get it.

Perhaps that is why you don't seem aware of the current status of women in the workforce. I work with women at all levels in my business from managers to engineers to corporate officers.

I also pay out the arse for alimony because it would have cost more to fight it in the long run.

Laws have been passed but like with any law there are still law breakers. Women don't always know they're getting paid less. I worked at places where, if you discussed wages, you were fired.

Women DO take it to the courts so thanks for the "great advice "....and they take it to court because it's still happening.

You: """Women making more money than men won't be crying much about it,""

Why should they? Did MEN when they made more money than women ? No.

Being a valuable asset to your company doesn't always guarantee they won't screw you over in pay....where did you get such a silly idea that that is a guarantee???

Taking it to court doens't mean they are right though. As for not being able to discuss your wage you could very well be getting paid more than men.

It is not a guarantee but why would a company risk loosing a valuable employee to another company just to save a few bucks? And speaking of saving a few bucks, if women do get paid less more companies would be looking to hire more females than males, is this something that happens in the US?

Bad news (for you that is) is that the gender gap is most likely not going anywhere either, since men chose high paying jobs over women, and when the women take those same high paying jobs they don't put as much effort in their careers as men do, instead they rather focus on their family.

Then there's also the market which determines how men and woman should get paid, in sports specially since men outperform women in sports and provide better entertainment they get paid more, same with female pornstars, since it is a male oriented market, female pornstars are more valuable than the male performers (also i'm willing to bet some men would (*)(*)(*)(*) for free).

I'd just like to know...When was it that women decided it was a good idea to let a male sperm-donor get the goodies without running a gauntlet and/or at least making some kind of commitment? After all, nature dictates who will be personally, psychologically and physically be responsible for the outcome. Shouldn't that party be a bit more careful and self respecting?

What constitutes a "better example" and what authority gets to decide this for all? Why does it matter what example I use when all the examples I could use have the same theme of supporting equality between the sexes?

So women are oppressed in wardobe choices during summer. Yes, i do think women should have the right to wear whatever they want whatever the season it may be, reason i asked for another example is because i've never heard feminists complain about this, which makes me think they have other priorities, i was wondering if you'd know what those priorities might be, concerning their rights.

Yes it is a myth and that is proven.

Denying that it has been debunked merely proves one is a feminist living in denial of facts which prove feminist ideology wrong.

    There is no pay gap.

What does exist is an income gap driven by personal choices.

If the pay gap existed you could demonstrate by naming one occupation where men and women work side by side and men make a higher wage or salary based on the fact that they are male.

    No such occupation exists

I do not speak for nor do I represent feminists, I speak for and represent myself. What I want is equality for women. I have no hidden agenda nor nefarious plans.

Which bills restricted a woman's right to reproduce, can you cite me a few of them? There were lots that protected babies from being killed indiscriminately and to protect women from being falsely led into do so.

Yes many individuals male and female know they have to get what they want even if others dislike it or get left behind.

Women in general thundered over nothing.

They were granted equal rights and equality by benevolent men.

    Patriarchy is myth

    - - - Updated - - -

Wrong it is your world too and all evidence proves it does not exist.

    That is fact

I'd say it's actually going in the opposite direction in this country. The West, in general, has become very accommodating of women.

Women have access to far more welfare benefits than men. They are heavily favored in custody law. Most states leave men few choices when it comes to child support, regardless of whether they get any custodial rights.

Women are favored in scholarships, despite the fact that women outnumber men in enrollment. There's a push in college for male students to be expelled after any sort of accusation against them by women, without any real effort being made to determine the truth of a claim.

Women tend to get promoted faster in police forces, specifically because of the few women in the upper ranks, regardless of whether they actually are best for the job.

Unless he has a prenuptial agreement, a wealthy man must give up half of his assets to his ex-wife, usually without much consideration to whether the divorce is her fault or not. Even a man who isn't wealthy is often burdened by this.

Women have pushed for equality in the military but still haven't clamored for participation in selective service registration.

These are just a few of the areas where women are favored.
