A few years ago, on this forum, I wrote about what is happening now - the degradation of the economy - the growth of unemployment - the impoverishment of the population - the growth of crime - racial conflicts ... etc.
Many then did not believe in my predictions. But, as you know, time is the most honest person. And you yourself can see that almost all my predictions are already facts today. And even armed confrontations between citizens and the police are now appearing in the American media.
I want to add - this is just a pitiful beginning. There are two more points ahead - separatism and the collapse of the United States.
And now, the once indispensable main currency in the world, the dollar, is becoming a toxic currency.
    For example.
Amid rising tensions, China likely to reduce US debt holdings https://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1199833.shtml
But when the US dollar loses its attractiveness, poverty will increase.
And if today we see whole cities of homeless and starving people, then what will happen when, for example, pension funds start to go bankrupt on a massive scale?
The growth of protest moods will only grow. At the same time, political preferences will obviously be on the side of communist ideas. And this will pose a threat to the oligarchs - the ruling class in the United States, Russia, Europe ... and so on.
Therefore, if you look at the historical experience, then the probability of a new world war is very high. Nuclear war.
And the oligarchs will provoke a world war. They just won't have a way out. Either they will remain in power, or they will end.
Therefore, the oligarchs will do their best to distract the population of their countries from the revolution and communist ideas, promoting primitive nationalism and forcing ordinary people to kill each other.

So many aspects to this issue. Some that come to mind are:

    1) One of the problems is the food is overly regulated and standardized. A relative who works at a food manufacturer says they have been struggling with their supply chains. If they cannot get an ingredient, they cannot produce that product because the ingredients list on the package will be wrong and they cannot redo the packaging. If they have a problem with a supplier, they may or may not be able to substitute suppliers because then the nutritional information could be wrong. Their orders have gone up astronomically, but they have trouble meeting them.

    2) Even when food supplies are not officially part of embargos, they get wrapped up in the banking regulations such that it is hard if not impossible for those countries to buy American food and farm products because the financial transactions get blocked.

    3) COVID hit us right at the beginning of the growing season. With so much shut down, it was hard for farmers to know what and how much to plant. Agriculture has a long lead time in comparison to many other products.

    4) Too many farms monocrop, especially large-scale suppliers. We need to do more to diversify our sources of food, and that includes supporting local agriculture even if it costs more for a local tomato as opposed to a supermarket green tomato gassed to make it red.

A Russian propagandist that has no idea of life in American can be summarily ignored. Fake propaganda.
