    Never become so close minded that you are unwilling to let those with credibility cross check your "facts".

    Seriously, if you are so convinced that what you are saying is true then why not present your evidence to experts and see the other side of the debate? Are you afraid that they may (will) disagree with you and provide actual evidence as to why you are wrong rather than support your idea?

    Or are you so educated on this subject that you honestly believe that you are better qualified to form a conclusion on life on Mars than PhD level Astrophysicists and Astronomers?

    It was sent there decades ago the government just told you it landed in 2012 because they needed time to gather evidence of alien civilization and then cover it up and make Mars look like what you see today. They lie and cover up stuff like this all the time, where do you think Will Smith got that spaceship to fly up and blow up the mothership orbiting the earth and blowing up cities in the 90s?

    These guys are freakin good, they managed to hide (*)(*)(*)(*)ing Megatron under the polar ice for centuries without anybdy finding out. You don't think they could pull off a tiny stunt like making Mars just look like its desolate when in reality the Klingons and Wookies are actually living like kings over there.

    Just look at the videos man, seriously it's right in front of your face.

    Yeah the big face looking thing in mars is actually a real face that opens up and you can walk inside it and learn about the history of the solar system from tall skinny aliens. As a matter of fact Gary Siniese thought that was so cool he is still there to this day.

    Alright, I looked it up, and this is what I got.

    It does look like an Egyptian statue. I'll give you that, but need I remind you about the now debunked "Face on Mars"?

    Later pictures of it proved it to be nothing more than an optical illusion. Also, if NASA is covering up the supposed proof of alien life on Mars, why would they allow the proof to get out? You're contradicting yourself. First, you say they're covering up the proof, then you say that they've released the proof. Surely NASA could keep this stuff from getting out.

    There is new data on the face NASA messed with it..When is everyone going to admit NASA has an agenda to hide the truth The Brooking Report is still being adhered to.

    Proposed Studies on the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs, often referred to as "the Brookings Report," was a 1960 report commissioned by NASA and created by the Brookings Institution in collaboration with NASA's Committee on Long-Range Studies. It was submitted to the House Committee on Science and Astronautics of the United States House of Representatives in the 87th United States Congress on April 18, 1961.[1] It was entered into the Congressional Record and can be found in any library possessing the Congressional Record for that year.
    The report has become noted for one short section titled, "The implications of a discovery of extraterrestrial life," which examines the potential implications of such a discovery on public attitudes and values. The section briefly considers possible public reactions to some possible scenarios for the discovery of extraterrestrial life, stressing a need for further research in this area. It recommends continuing studies to determine the likely social impact of such a discovery and its effects on public attitudes, including study of the question of how leadership should handle information about such a discovery and under what circumstances leaders might or might not find it advisable to withhold such information from the public.
    While not specifically recommending a cover-up of evidence of extraterrestrial life, Proposed Studies on the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs does suggest that contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life (or strong evidence of its reality) could have a disruptive effect on human societies. Moreover, it does mention the possibility that leadership might wish to withhold evidence of extraterrestrial life from the public under some conditions.[4]

    What's getting out is what's being missed by NASA. Another theory is since NASA is still operating under the Brookings Report , this is one way some NASA employees have of blowing the whistle without getting in trouble.

    I think that some people just want to believe so bad that they will convince themselves to see things. Its called Pareidolia and its not very uncommon. Rather than taking a step back and looking at something objectively and trying to prove what you see, many people use the complete backwards reasoning of seeing something and trying to disprove what they think they see.

    This was one of the first things I learned in navigation. When people are lost they will look around and MAKE the map look like what they see around them to convince themselves of where they are rather than taking a step back and looking at the map and accepting that "Yes there is a hill right there, and a tower there, and a road here but this road curves left and the road on the map curves right so Im not where I think i am." Instead most people will go "well there is a hill there and a tower there and the road curves left but this road curves right but I know I'm here the map must be wrong".

    Its a very simple concept to prove. Just go outside with a friend and look at the clouds. Ask them what they see. They might say anything. But then say doesn't that kinda look like a duck? Then watch your friend go "oh yeah it kinda does! Theres the beak and the tail etc".

    I think you nailed it....I think Don is hoping he can go to Mars and get a date with Dejah Thoris. :)


    BTW, still waiting....on that photo of a "Martian tree" taken by the rover probes.

    I remember when Richard Hoagland first started pushing the "Face on Mars"...even finding "pyramids" and other "structures"...all based on grainy, low res photos from the Viking orbiter.

    Then the next round of orbiters with better resolution started taking pictures and showed the "face" to be ...just another hill, with some indentations and shadowing. It looked no more like a "face" than a dollop of chocolate ice cream looks like the face of Halle Berry. Did Hoagland and his believers recant...did they admit they were wrong?

    Of course not...that's not what religious cultists do. They merely claimed that the "face" was "more weather-worn" than previous indicated. That Martian dust-storms had "smoothed down" the "carved" features.

    Look up the history of the Millerites (later to become 7th Day Adventist Church)....this is nothing new.
