First thing, I do not want a civil war with the people and the division thereof! I want a civil war against the government! The reason why is because they all just keep lying their asses off! Telling us what their going to do once they are elected. And then once they are elected, they stick with the powers that be!

It seems to me that the only way to get any real change would be to wipe the entire white house clean!! It is the top bankers that run the show, along with lobbyists.

The question is, even if we was able to sweep the white house clean, we would need people ready to go in and get to work. How do we find these people, most people that would be qualified for the job, would be part of the establishment already. Is it possible to put average everyday Americans in power? Or would the result be much worse? Are we to be held in this paradigm of crooked politicians simply because we are to afraid to stand up against them? Or, are we to be held in this era of crooked politicians because they have become so powerful, and there is simply nothing we can do about it?

To put it short, how do we (American people coming together) put an end to these crooked politicians, or is it possible?

As long as we have the ballot box, we don't need to resort to pitchforks and torches. The democrats no longer have the ballot box, but the republicans still do.

Yes, my problem is, major things that Trump ran on and was voted for, he has now turned his back on. This is what I'm sick and tired of in Washington. And every time they say they are going to change, they never do.

Well, armed insurrection is not the answer to that. Motivating like-minded people to vote the scoundrels out, is the answer. And until we have completely lost the ability to do that, more forceful measures will not have to be taken. If you cannot motivate enough people to vote the scoundrels out, then how can you possibly hope to motivate enough people to mount an armed insurrection?

Not making any excuses here, but I would have expected him to have made some promises that he could not practically keep. He's not a politician. He WANTS to do things that he, as a citizen, recognizes need to be done, but for varying reasons, turn out to be impractical, or impossible, once he starts to get a feel for what is involved, and the unforeseen implications.

It would be like you getting a job as a carnival ride designer, with no prior experience. You, as an avid rider, can probably imagine LOTS of uber-cool ideas for carnival rides; ideas that make other riders like you salivate in anticipation. But once you begin the design and engineering process along side people who know what they're doing, you learn that some of your ideas aren't going to be possible or practical.

I am sure he believed everything he said, at the time, and has not intentionally mislead anyone on his promises. (WARNING: The left-wing media will try to get into your head and make it seem like he intentionally tricked you.) But I also realize that he has more information now on the implications of implementing those promises and, adjustments will have to be made, or just scrapped. Again, he's new to the job.

I truly think what he DOES get done will be with the best interests of the American people at heart, and I'm willing to give him a chance. If he gets sucked into the dark side of the corrupt, crony, status-quo, then I will be first in line in 2020 to vote him out.

These guys are probably getting "The Talk" once they get elected. Someone comes by and says look, forget about what you campaigned on, this is the agenda. If you don't follow it (dot) (dot) (dot). Shadowy government per JFK maybe?

And did you hear this from the same media that tried to stop him from becoming POTUS?

I imagine there is a lot of that going on from the entrenched status-quo establishment. How Trump deals with it is pivotal for me. Does he join the dark side, or call them out? Time will tell.

As I mentioned in another thread about his lying "stump speeches".....he's no different than any other President since Reagan (only because I came of age for politics after Reagan). You can go back and review the promises made by every person that ran for President and pick them apart.

My mother summed it up about political offices pretty well when I was talking to her about Hillary's issues and she said "yea, but she's a politician so it's normal".

If you want honestly in office then the people need to vote people out the first chance they get until eventually the politicians will catch on......if they want to remain in office that is.

Your hatred would only be against the Constitution. It spells out the legal means for changing the Government and civil war is not one of them.
