God, this thread has turned into something disgusting. Lol! I always wash my lettuce, and I will make sure to wash it doubly good from now on.

Which is why I keep my toothbrush in a drawer/medicine cabinet. ;)

Airlines....lice or bedbugs in the blankets and pillows. Same nasty filtered air circulating and someone ALWAYS has a sick kid or are sick themselves.
Movie theaters....ringworm on the headrests and arm rests plus the goop on the floor growing nasty bacteria.

Anyway...sitting on a bench or chair after an unclothed person was there is a resounding NO for me.

Not just lettuce. ANYTHING that is veggie and comes from crops. Fruits and nuts, not so much since it's machines that usually pick the fruit. But if it comes from the ground? Strawberries, potatoes, lettuce, carrots, etc...not only fecal matter, but also pesticides. Double whammy.

When I shop..I never try anything on. I know if it will fit or not. And I never EVER wear anything until it is washed first. New or used from a thrift store, for example.
My bathroom is two rooms. Toilet is next to shower in a separate section of the room that has a sliding door for privacy. Sink area is in the other section. But I still keep the toothbrush in the medicine cabinet. And when not, it is in a plastic baggie. Sealed. As well as the tooth paste.

I am not a germaphobe, but I am careful. This is why I never go to movie theaters. All those heads on those headrests? Nah. I will pass.

I use a sonicare electric. It has a cap, but I always give mine a good wash before I use it. I am more worried about mold after I took the brush off the change heads once and it was like primordial soup built up under the head. It was rather vile, but you couldn't tell it from the outside. Kind of like the sippy cup mold problems that have been in the news lately I guess.

Come cold/flu season, I am like a total germaphobe. I won't touch anybody or anything if at all possible, and if I do I sterilize myself. Even when it isn't, when my adorable little biohazzard nieces come over, as soon as I smile and wave them bye, I clean like there was a toxic waste spill in my house. One of them is always sick or feeling bad or getting over something and their hands are on everything when they are here.
