Yep, it can happen in U.S., Ocasio-Cortez is proof.

Many people believe Unites States is immune to falling to socialism and i'm not referring to what we see in Denmark, Norway, Canada or France, nope, i'm talking about the type of socialism we see today in Venezuela.

Ocasio-Cortez has charisma, is rambunctious and has no fear BUT she is clueless, she is unexperienced and has deep hatred for white men and the rich. This is radically different from the leaders we see in sophisticated socialist countries, even Macron and Trudeau, who are young, make Ocasio-Cortez seem dumb. Ocasio-Cortez and what she represents is much more in line with someone like Chavez, a charismatic, anti-rich populist but even Chavez seemed smarter, was more experienced.

It is beyond belief that the media is paying so much attention to such a person who clearly knows little about so many important issues and strictly appeals to emotions. This is a person who was making strong statements against Israel but when pressed in an interview, giggled and said ' i know little about that'. How can such a person even get 1 news headline? let alone all this mass media attention? I then realized, the Country is changed.

After decades of this Country allowing millions of poor immigrants to come in (millions illegally), decades of trade policies that have decimated good blue collar middle class jobs what has happened is that America has become a Country of inequality and a Country with a more diverse, divided populace. Combine the much larger non-white lower-class population with a democratic party that has for years convinced this section of the US population that the rich whites are the villains, you now have a very fertile ground for a Chavez to flourish and perhaps even take the white house one day. Ocasio-Cortez is no different than Chavez, listen to what she sells, how little knowledge she has and how she mainly just pits non-white poor people against everyone else. I would argue she is even worse than Chavez as Chavez was fairly smart, just followed the wrong ideology.

As the non-white lower class population increases and the left continues to portray white rich people as the villains, there is no stopping the fall of US to a VERY dangerous leader that will destroy the Country. Chavez and Maduro have destroyed Venezuela and they rose to power by selling exactly the same stuff Ocasio-Ortez sells, wow, i didn't know it come this fast!!!

The reality is that we are already being exposed to a very dangerous "Leader" who is in the process of destroying our country as we speak, and he is not a socialist. Indeed; I fully expect her to become president some day because our collective Left have become just that stupid in regards to the lessons of history. What i can't figure out is who are the high level power players who are in charge. Anyone with half a brain knows she's clueless and selling a very divisive social warfare ideology, very similar to what Castro and Chavez sold before they rose to power. What is she selling? war on the rich, conservatives and rich white men. I haven't heard her debate or discuss a single topic with any mastery of the issue whatsoever. The left likes to depict Trump as some idiot but Trump is 1 million times more knowledge and experienced that her, he has proven to be no dummy; in fact, it's his efficiency and productivity that really threatens the left, he has been extremely effective as president. Without question, he has gotten more done in his 2 years than Obama or Bush did in first 2 years... it's not even close.

 

And Castro and Chevez got a much YUGER megaphone than they deserved too. Extremes get eyeballs, which sell soap.
