Yes, Donald Trump Is Making White People More Hateful

I'll remind you, I'm not even a "RW"er, but you knew that. I'm an Independent who was once foolish enough to vote for your beloved Obama -- those are not the actions of a "RW"er nor of a "racist" (although they were the actions of a naive 30-something who was not nearly as politically savvy as I am now.)

I might suggest you yourself should stop allowing yourself to be fed a continuous diet of LW propaganda, because your posts would indicate you've been entirely brainwashed, and I'm not interested in debating a leftie parrot.

I agree with the article when it states that people are often confused about what’s okay and what isn’t okay, especially considering that our society is extremely tolerant of bigotry from minorities toward whites and other minority’s groups.

Maybe if we start applying the same standards to everyone, there’d be a hell of a lot less confusion, and people wouldn’t take Trump’s rhetoric as permission to do anything.

 

What specifically did Obama do to sow the seeds of racial tension. The only specific example I have heard is that he said Trayvon Martin could have been his son. And THAT is hardly race bating.

Since 1965, Blacks have been the full-fledged legal equals of every other citizen of the United States -- exactly as it should be! So what are so many of them so unhappy about now? Maybe about 99.9% of them should go look in the mirror for the answer....

I'm an old guy. I can easily remember a time when just about every kind of relationship between ALL races was a hell of a lot better than it is now, and it was really, really good and getting better all the time. But I'm telling you in all honesty -- race relations started going straight back to hell when Obama became president, and that's a damned shame!

 

Yeah, I've been a member here for almost 8 years. I've seen and heard enough to know this didn't start with Trump and it's not just his supporters. It's from both sides of the political spectrum. Anyone who doesn't see that is to wrapped up in their own political bias.
