Yet another DIRTY democrat senator?

These are our "patriotic" senators. Their idea is that we serfs keep the economy going by going out there to go shop, but they bet against America the first moment they get the chance. If they really were patriotic, they'd keep their money in the market, capitalizing our companies and preventing people's 401ks from dropping through the floor. If everyone would buy and hold, none of this market carnage would have happened. I hold these Senators personally accountable. And that goes for both parties.

Sen. Kelly Loeffler was just on CNBC trying to claim she had nothing to do with her expertly timed stock sale claiming her brokers did it all???They will have a representative from ProPublica, which uncovered the sales by Burr and Loeffler, on CNBC to counter her claim, later today.

That's my point, if there is evidence they had some inside scoop by all means nail them to the wall, but if they just said," this looks bad, I'm out" there is nothing wrong with that.

In the last year i have said a lot about innocent until proven guilty in regards to both Trump and Kavanaugh. I have to extend the same courtesy here..

 

Except they had knowledge before you. But, thanks to Nancy Pelosi she stopped efforts to end insider trading by elected representatives, so there is nothing illegal about what they did, unethical completely but again thank you Nancy, not illegal. Since elected officials represent us, the very moment they hear of something then it is deemed that it is the same as if we heard it. Pelosi and her husband has made tens of millions of dollars trading in stocks because she learned information before it became public. They use to call it the Pelosi click, as she ran down the hall to call her stock broker before cell phones. I am angry about it, but I find it comical that liberals are selectively getting angry now after ignoring the left doing it for decades.

Haven't look into the specifics (and NO, linking to a wiki page doesn't cut it). Was a trading plan in place, even of shorter term? Was there a financial adviser who had a trading plan or even rationale, especially among several clients?

Folks, corona, not corona, knowing the U.S. equity markets were overheated for a LONG time to a point of selling even larger volumes is not evidence of wrongdoing without MUCH more, panic and hysteria notwithstanding.

Needs MUCH more information and as it seems currently is sensationalism and smearing... regardless of political party.

Yeah, no, this issue and a host of various federal, state laws, exchange, rules, cases, plans, trusts,and especially details, etc. are not amenable to "wiki" analysis. There is much much more detail involved, and not bothering to go into it further on this forum.

 

If they knew something others did not know and used that for profit then it is wrong. Did any of you folks notice that 3 of the four who did this are Republicans and that some would be considered Christians? So I think that we should condemn the act of four selfish individuals instead of trying to lay this on "corrupt Democrats" or worse yet "JEWS."

Again, the point was never about Wiki, it was that insider trading by Congress is a violation of the STOCK Act. Wiki has nothing to do with it, it's just an explanation of the law. If you don't like it, look up the actual federal code yourself.
