This whole line of arguing is ridiculous. The dictionary defines the phrase "pass out" as becoming unconscious. Going to sleep is passing out, with or without the booze.
It's pretty funny the way all trumpkins are having to delete the fact that it's his lying about it that's the issue. It's not a difficult reality to get to grips with, even the lowliest trumpkin is fit to understand it. That makes it wilful. Evil little lying garden gnomes don't care. It's the salty balls taste of their ever-out-of-reach liberal tears in their paper-slit mouths they drool for. As the Brett's of this world remove as many rights from them as possible. Suicide by proxy.
Exactly, yet Bart drew the ridiculous distinction. If that is the best he can do to find distinctions (an important function in writing judgements) he will be hopeless on SCOTUS.
What does this have to do with the lack of corroboration and evidence regarding Fords testimony? Nothing? Cool, just checking.
Do you agree that Bart O'Kavanaugh lied about the legal drinking age in Maryland for his final year in High School, 1982/3?
Wow. Really reaching with this thread huh? Yeah, he was such a drunken loser, that he got excellent grades and went on to succeed as people who post here can only dream about, ( not even, probably). God I wish I could be half the drunken loser Kav was....
I dont know, I dont know what he claimed it to be, and I dont know what it was. I do know, that question also has nothing to do with the lack of corroboration or evidence regarding Fords testimony. So is it safe to say that this was never about Fords testimony? I mean, honestly... it doesnt seem to be. Even Booker is now suggesting Kavanaugh be replaced whether hes guilty or not, which tells me it was never about Fords testimony to begin with.
Zillions of people I went to University with were party drunks, and they all managed to graduate with flying colours.
I can make a very good case for its relevance to the testimony of Ford, but the people who support Bart's appointment all run away from addressing that fundamental question. I can show you that he lied about the legal drinking age in Maryland during his final 1982/3 High School year.
Come on Mr Pack! He was specifically asked and his reply was that "no I never passed out, maybe went to sleep" or similar language. Do you want the video of it?
Do you think anyone honestly gives a ****? Did he attempt to rape Ford or not? No? Then Democrats should be all on board. But they're not, because she was just a dog and pony show for obstruction. Nothing more, nothing less. Its disgusting.
Right. Booze is the one drug that people act there's something wrong with you, if you don't use it. "What'ya ya mean you don't want drink? Something wrong? Aww come on, I'm buying".
Yes, he said he did not. Ford does not allege he raped her either, rather that he behaved in an obnoxios drunking manner and was so inebrietated that he was unable to remove her clothing. She does not suggest penetration of any kind. She asserts 'grinding' or if you prefer, 'dry humping.' He says, "Nah, not me, I was never so pissed that I could or would do that, I was always such a courteous and respectful bloke."
2,400 Law professors that oppose Kavanaugh don't believe blackout drunks and perjurers like Kavanaugh should be SCOTUS judges. https://www.washingtonpost.com/educ...hearing/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.f50d67200fa3
Had he gotten her clothes off, then what? She says it impacted her entire life. Literally ruined it. You dont think she believed he was attempting to rape her? Her life was ruined because she thinks some boy tried to take her shirt off? Please. This whole thing was worded in a way to imply rape.
My buddy's law professor tried to blow his head off with a shotgun at a gun range so his wife wouldn't know he was trying to kill himself. I dont care about their word any more than I care about the senates opinion of this man. Nobody else does either.
IMO...this has hit a nerve for some Trump fans. They can relate to not being able to score with girls during their youth and maybe even for a long time after. The very idea that guys were wiling to spike drinks in order to obtain sex is bizarrely desperate. Did anyone bring up the fact that the drug of choice during that era was Quaaludes? Anyone familiar with that drug is aware that it had an aphrodisiac affect and it really plays right in to the time frame and descriptions of these stories.
Were you this disgusted when the republicans wilfully obstructed a president by refusing a hearing on his nominee?
