You completely avoided the guy who shot up a liberal church (including kids) because he thought that leftists were ruining this country and the three guys who planned a terrorist attack on Muslim immigrants. Fake bombs? No, they weren't fake, though it still would have been terrorism even if they were. And, no, the Bundys were not "simply [protesting] the idea of land being taken away." They lost a criminal court case. Their property was to be legally confiscated. They and their friends showed up to prevent that legal action from being carried out and they pointed guns and law enforcement to do so. So, yeah, they are in the same boat as the guys in the OP. Not only that, but the same crew later did an armed takeover of public land (again, like in the OP), they threatened to kill law enforcement, and one eventually followed through on his promise of not being taken alive by getting shot after trying to draw on law enforcement multiple times. I will give this to the Bundy crew, though, at least they eventually kicked out two other rightwing terrorists who later went on a cop-killing spree.
That kinda used to be the case when it cost about 10x as much to manufacture an AR as an AK. Now ARs are actually cheaper in the US due to the GCers restrictive importation policies creating an artificial AK scarcity. It used to be like pickup trucks vs lambos. But now its more like Ford vs Chevy.
Can't be sure-Vortex Diamondback glass? or Nikon? My long rangers are a .50BMG custom, a .338LM, a .308 AR-10, a 6.5 Creedmoor competition bolt, and a .224 Valkyrie AR. The Creedmoor and Valkyrie are very accurate and fun to shoot; the rest beat you up. Worst is the .338. The 50 weighs 34 lbs and has a monster brake, so it's not too bad. Cost however is- both the 50 and the .338 start around $4 a shot, that dampens the fun too. This is the CM. Full custom.
Come to think of it, I have a Black 1000 (mrad) new in the box here in my office. Looked fine, but I haven't tried it yet; may not. Used to have a variety of scope types, finally decided to try to use all Vortex, only FFP lenses and MRAD recticles, just for continuity. Had a Steiner on the Valkyrie, replaced it with a Diamond back which cost much less and I actually like better. The scope on the CM is a Vortex razor. Best I've ever used or seen. The price makes you flinch, but still a great buy among those in it's class. Hard to find long-range places to shoot, however.

Don't forget they will owe reparations to the United States, the state of Washington, the City of Seattle, and all the businesses and property owners inside their "borders" of their stolen "country".
