    Don't normally appreciate covers - especially when they are covering songs by my favorite singers, but if Otis were alive, he'd like this version, I think. I know I do. Her name is Sarah Niemietz, and she is being accompanied by my favorite guitarist, W. G. "Snuffy" Walden.

    I watched the movie Cadillac Records and afterwards I looked up every song and artist portrayed in this movie.
    Beyoncé did a good job in that role.

    The voice should not get in the way. The performance should never outshine the real star and that is the song itself, the lyric. Keep it pure. keep it simple. This woman knows how to do that.
