The election ends up with the GOP ticket as Romney/Cain. Obama gets 49%, Romney gets 48%, and the rest go to the write-ins and third party candidates.

A thorough investigation of voter fraud and miscounting ensues in the usual suspects -- Ohio and Florida, but ultimately, the final tally remains the same.

Meanwhile, the GOP makes gains in the Senate and House.

I think Perry is gonna suprise you guys. Obama would love to run against Christie. Its gonna be Obama 52% Perry 48%

If Paul runs as a third party he would hurt Romney more than Perry. Obama would like to see that happen as he would hurt the republican more than him.
The Republicans have hurt themselves with the old farts, the latino's, If you add in the blacks and dems you have more than 52%. Its over before it starts. The only place you hear talk of a republican victory is on Fox News. Its going to be interesting a year from now on this forum when all the righties kinda slink away and don't have much to say for awhile. I'm looking foward to it.

My prediction is some one will win, and it won't matter one bit who that some one is!! It will be an election between 2 parties, where the differences are a sham in order to convince people they have a real choice. When the real choice is actually just between a corporatist party that supports gay marriage vs a corporatist party that doesn't. Well actually neither party actually cares about gay marriage, or any other social issue for that matter. It is all just part of the theater which makes Americans think the differences are real. There has to be some actual differences or people would catch on, so they make those differences completely unimportant to the people with the money and power in this country. They don't care about abortion, stem cells, or gay rights. So they allow those issues to be used to manipulate simpletons who do!! It is all a just a puppet show, and no matter the outcome the puppet masters will still be the same!!

Here is my general prediction for 2012: http://freeindependentsun.com/zen/2012-enlightenment-theory-a-world-of-abundance-and-self-governance/

    As far as the election.

The GOP Primary will go like this:

No one else will enter the race.

Ron Paul will win Iowa, then place 2nd and 3rd the rest of January, with the other states going back and forth between Romney and Cain.

After January Romney will start attacking Cain and vice-versa, the other candidates will start dropping out and Paul will start winning more states. Eventually Cain will drop out and the race will turn into Romney vs. Paul.

It'll stay close until the end when Paul wins California and secures the Nomination.

Obama will try to cash in on the in-fighting and long Primary season, and the General election will start with Obama leading Paul. As the election nears the Occupy protests will intensify and their support will slowly go to Paul. The election will be close, perhaps even disputed. The protests will increase to the point that another 2000 will not be an option and Paul will win.

Additionally third-party candidates (most likely from the left; Greens, Pirate, etc.) will win a few seats in Congress.

During this heated battle of People vs. Corporatism, non-political efforts will progress, more and more people will "get off the grid" so to speak, start gardens, build their own machines, etc.

Society will begin to Transition into a post-economic culture. This trend will quickly spread across the world and we will begin a new chapter in human civilization.

Yes, I'm an optimist, I see it as being a realist, I'm not ruling out other possibilities, but I put my focus toward the world I want, always being prepared for chaos. That is how you win.
