Why wouldn't he be let go with his gun? He did nothing illegal, and he still has a FL CCW permit (wasn't revoked, as Zimmerman was found Not Guilty). He told the police officer he had a gun (per Texas Law) and he had a FL CCW permit, which Texas honors.
He's probably pretty safe in most parts of Texas. If in a traffic stop the first words out of my mouth are: "Officer. I have a gun in the car and permit to carry it." That's called complying with the law. A principle Zimmermann is familiar with and Thugvon was not.. BTW, Zimmermann walked and Thugvon is still dead. Time to fold up this temporary forum to make way for the next incident ginned up by the MSM.
And what was wrong with that? Zimmerman has a legal right to carry a concealed firearm in Texas, due to his FL CCW permit. He was found not guilty, so there is no reason he shouldn't be allowed to have a gun.

Exactly the point of not caring that Zimmerman killed a teenager. By eliminating one Trayvon, he saved the lives of other kids who look like Trayvon.

The officer issued Zimmerman a warning for speeding and then sent him on his way - but not before asking him where he was going, to which he replied 'nowhere in particular'. 'Nowhere in particular, why is that?' responded the officer according to In Forney.com 'You didn’t see my name?' said Zimmerman. The officer then responded, 'wow, what a coincidence.' This version brings the chuckles though. I wonder which story is more accurate. The version quoted here seems to try and make Zimmerman wondering why he wasn't recognized. My story seems like a humble Zimmerman.

There are far fewer sidewalks in Texas so he'll be safer there. Now if he can only stay clear of black people wearing hoodies near anything solid. He should just get a boat somewhere on the gulf coast, that way if any black hoodie wearing people come near, he can just jump overboard to all that nice soft safe water.
