“Zion” term and Nature of Zionism

“Zion” term firstly was used in Torah to define Jerusalem (Kudus), but today it is used to define whole Israeli lands. Thus Zionism, in general can be defined as Ideology that attempts gather all Jews in the Zion. But as a political movement Zionism, is special form of Jews nationalism and argues that all Jews should come to historical Israeli lands (Eretz Israel). Additionally, Zionism tries to define common “Jews Identity” to contain all Jews groups.

Zionism can be divided into two groups and can be investigated under these categories:

    - Mistical Zionism

    - Political Zionism
