New photos confirm the attack’s coordination and its cover-up

The Obama State Department has finally released a second round of photos revealing the harrowing devastation wrought by a terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012.

The new photographs depict rampant damage to the consulate. They show charred walls, smoldering fires, Arabic graffiti defacing exterior walls, and scattered debris throughout. The extent of the damage would lead any reasonably serious person to conclude that this was a cold, calculated attack, carefully coordinated to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Unfortunately for the American people, the Obama-Clinton-Rice cabal that led to the Benghazi cover-up was far more interested in political-damage control than serious damage assessment.

Let’s be clear: The photos clearly reveal that the terrorist attack on the Benghazi consulate was not some spur-of-the-moment prank pulled by a couple of hyped-up Libyans coming off a YouTube binge, as top Obama administration officials led the American people to believe. It was most certainly not, as President Obama himself suggested to the entire world via the United Nations, the result of “a crude and disgusting video [that] sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world.”

There is no doubt that images of Benghazi were with held and that Obama, Clinton and Rice lied to the American public about the attack on both compounds. Questions still remain about what did they know and when did they know? Why were the personnel abandoned and left to die in Benghazi?

 

Before we knew there were dead Americans from the attacks, Romney was already politicizing the whole thing. Obama, Clinton and Rice made statements based on talking points the intelligence agencies had at the time and did so in a way that would not undermine the investigation. The Right Wing started clambering on how Obama is handling the whole thing wrong even before investigators had a chance to get on the scene. It is clear to me that this has become a right wing propaganda tool that they are beating to death. There is no cover-up or scandal here. An attack took place on our ambassador and his staff, and that is truly tragic. To use the incident to try and discredit Obama is not only wrong on many levels, IMHO, but it's also getting old and the majority of Americans are tired of hearing the right wing complain about it.

 

I thought this was going to be a thread aboutthe fake bengahzi outrage. Plus all the wasted maoney by Republicans trying to prove wrong doing when there was not any. Plus where was you outrage about the aatacks under Bush oh yeah the rightwing noise machine didnt report those.

The terrorist attack in Benghazi was never politicized. Not by Mitt Romney, not by President Obama, and not by the press. The terrorist attack in Benghazi is – by its very nature – political, as are all foreign policy failures of such fatal magnitude. The death of Americans is also always tragic, particularly so when it occurs in a diplomatic setting that once held great promise. But the greater tragedy would be allowing the Commander in Chief to depoliticize a thoroughly and rightly political thing for his personal political gain.

It appears that even before Romney uttered a word about Benghazi, Obama spoke in Nevada the next day about the attack and possible responsibility of a rogue videographer.

 

There are certain stupid things the GOP does, that they must continue to do after they're exposed as stupid...like praising Sarah Palin.

Recent GOP history is repleat with stuff like that.

They tried to make hay out of Benghazi for the election, and after how many hearings?...they haven't found anything worth the time to talk about.

Your president fabricated a narrative that was 100% fiction and created to distract the country from a terrorist attack. This was done solely to further his re-election.

No sane person could deny this. There was no protest. There is no person on the scene that ever reported a protest. Every witness interviewed insists this was a premeditated terrorist attack. And with all that the administration lied to the country for the basest of reasons. Does anyone today doubt that Obama can lie to further his ends?

Romney's only mistake was to jump in with incomplete information. The Egyptian protest was conflated with the Benghazi terrorist attack and before the deaths were made known, Romney denounced the administration poo pooing of the Egyptian protest. That was appropriate as the admin was once again sucking off a bunch of thugs and excusing islamic mayhem.

But the eunuch palace guard media had an opening when the extent of Benghazi violence became clear. They beat Romney in the head for a solid week for what was little more than an early reaction to admin weakness.

So the attack in Benghazi was an anti-Obama attack.

Clinton. It was actually sickening at times.The way Clark fawned all over

The Right has been utterly convinced by their Echo Chamber Media that this "-gate" is their "Lewinsky moment" with Obama, i.e. impeachment fodder....and as well falsely convinced, that the majority of Americans agree with them.

They're going to be talking "Benghazi" until even past January 20th 2017, when President Obama leaves office....the line will simply be added "...though questions still remain" and "...still hangs like a cloud over the entire 8 years of Obama".

It really is just that simple. HoBag Susan Rice went out to the nation on 5 Sunday show to spread a wholly fabricated narrative that contained almost no truth with the sole motive of protecting Obama's electoral chances.

 

Few questions remain. The Scumbag-in-Chief lied to support his election effort and coordinated others to lie with him. He's now a much more well established agenda LIAR. And you still shill for him. Anyone with the tiniest shred of morality would denounce this POS.

 

Don't let Hillary off the hook. That should be the 2016 campaign slogan of the GOP candidate - People died and Hillary lied.

 

The press will find some excuse to rationalize her scumbaggery but it can't all be washed away. We have grieving parents of dead Americans anxious to cut commercials about her lying right to their face as bodies are offloaded.
