He has called her his "good friend", and contributed heavily to her campaigns in the past.

All he is doing is making the Republican party look foolish.

Well, we'll see how much of a "good friend" he is once Trump wins the election.

They couldn't win with one of their real politicians, so they figure, "What the hell! Let's go with a show biz zany!"

    Yeah..so?

It would be foolish of the Republican party to discount Trump. Maybe they can actually learn something this time around.

If Trump gathers enough popular support, Republicans will lose if he goes 3rd Party.
They would have to accept him as the front runner.

No. The system of campaign finance needs radical reform, but limiting the presidency to ego-driven billionaires is not a viable solution.

Well...If that happens they should accept him as the front runner because he will be. That being said it's still way early and things can change radically.

I am definitely no Trump supporter, but this OP is delusional.. Trump has done nothing but rise in polls, and Hillary has fallen in polls, yet Trump is helping Hillary? What a fruit. Not only that, there are like 10-15 other Republican candidates out there who are involved in these polls, yet the one who is highest in the polls is somehow helping someone who is dropping in polls.. Explain this FrankCapua.

When you are in New York doing business, you have to give money to the politicians. As for Hillary "doing great", her favorables just went negative. Her vote share is unlikely to exceed her favorability rating, can you win a national election with 46% of the vote?

Yes, but 46% looks pretty thin to me. And frankly, without a unusually strong 3rd party candidate, I doubt it's enough to win.

Why do you think Trump is ego-driven? What proof do you have? Other than your obvious baseless negative bias toward him.

He is forcing the other Repubs to address his unrealistic and foolish bombast which damages the support from the middle for the Republican candidate, whoever that will be.

    It won'r be Trump.

Support from the middle, not just the right is necessary to beat the evil queen.

Trump is a narcissistic clown who was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple.

What I find funny is that Trump companies have filed bankruptcy times and the people supporting him think he knows fiscal responsibility. Exactly how many contractors and labors were not paid by Trump??? Yeah his record on business will come out soon enough and the embarrassment will once again show how delusional the right is. Plus add all the birther non-sence and racist crap spewed from this man. And well what you have is the model for every Republican.

Exposing How Donald Trump Really Made His Fortune: Inheritance from Dad and the Government's Protection Mostly Did the Trick

From the moment of his birth, Trump was set up for success. The large inheritance left to him by his father, coupled with the contributions and the protections of society and the US government made his ascension to the Forbes 400 list almost inevitable. Nevertheless, Trump fails to recognize this phenomenon and continues to express his belief that he did it alone.
