An obvious desperation attempt to make himself more relevant among women and CA voters. I don't think it's going to work. That said, she knows the issues and Trump doesn't really have any competent female supporters who're well versed on the issues to the best of my knowledge.

This ticket would be the worst possible duo for this country. Theocratic nut jobs. I'd MUCH rather have Trump.

Not too bright a move, if that's the impetus, since the women of CA showed their disdain for her already in her loss for a CA senate seat.

To say nothing of the fact that she's an unhinged, full canvas jacket lunatic.

Sounds exactly like a hail Mary pass. Kind of like when Palin was nominated as Veep. And we all know how well that worked for McCain.

Cruz needs all the help he can get. It looks like Trump is gunna take it and I think he'll take Carson. Trump/Carson is gunna be rad.

    Sounds cool.

It definitely reduces his leverage at the convention.

No chance of a Cruz/Kasich ticket.

Unless of course, Carly steps aside in Cleveland.

Probably all part of the grand scheme.

At least her IQ is high enough for the position and she knows the issues. That's a lot more than I can say about Palin.

Trump should name Oprah Winfrey as his VP pick to counter Cruz's play. ;)

I don't think it is, but it certainly reeks of desperation. That being said, Cruz has nothing to lose at this point.

She is smart but that does not mean right. Her observations about the world seem to be extremely biased by her point of view and quite frankly, her ego. She has not made good decisions as a leader in the past but has become successful due to her ego, her ability to present herself ably and her ambition combined with utter ruthlessness. She is a sociopath, nothing more.

    Number 2 what?

Second ugliest person in America, after him?

Cruz doesn't have a chance. :roflol:

    Drop out, creep.

Trump will have 1237 before the convention.

    None of this matters.

    Not a chance.

Oprah needs to retain her viability for the inevitable 2024 POTUS campaign to succeed Hillary.

    Oprah's a joke.

    Trump will probably pick Rubio.

    Why?

He can attract Hispanic voters, and he's young and telegenic.

Being a sociopath is better than being an incoherent idiot in politics. I'm not saying I like or agree with her, but I don't think she's heavily disliked among traditional GOP primary voters. Do I think she's the best VP candidate out there? Hell no. However, she's proven that she's not likely to embarrass the Cruz campaign. Cruz needed some news today. Otherwise the entire narrative all week is how much Trump cleaned his clock in the northeast. Kasich and Cruz didn't win a single county yesterday. This is a distraction from that debacle.

Rubio is a better choice than Fiorina, by far. Not saying much, but lol

all vp choices have their intrinsic issues. Fiorina has hp bush has his establishment ties etc etc. Fiorina is unique because she has issues that were introduced during this election cycle. One of her staff is mentioned as one of cruz alleged mistress and cruz superpac gave fiorina's a 500k check.

Cruz is bringing up older issues that have hurt him in the past and theres really no upside to fiorina than a walker or rubio or bush doesnt give him. Or a halley if he really wants a woman.

The best choice for Trump would be Nikki Hayley, but I'm not sure if they can make nice.

Then again, Reagan hated Bush, JFK hated LBJ.

Cruz wants somebody who's very conservative. Fiorina proposed a 3 page tax plan.

first off we need to get off this thing where we need a black or we need a hispanic. Thats the left's tactics and i would hope we dont do that :/ Plus the people see thru that already which is why the two hispanics are losing the hispanice vote.

rubio is a neocon and his ideas are not in the best interests of hispanics or anyone else really. Plus he has been soundly rejected by all the voters already. You dont want his loser aura infecting you. I dont think the vp will be coming from the field.

    MY choices divided by field

    business - oprah / cuban
    military - mattis
    political - newt

each of them brings something unique to the team in the terms of skill set and not just a check on the ima hispanic box.

surely you can find someone else conservative in the gop not linkd to the sex scandal

How would Newt help bring in any votes? He's even more controversial than Trump.
