Is the comparison valid? All parties had legal debts, some were simply larger than others, as some fought impeachments and others opted to simply leave office.

Their net income went $16,000,000 in 2001, allegedly on :Bill's "speaking fees". He charges from $100,000- $400,000 per appearance. So Bill was speaking somewhere about every other day, huh? The way HE DRINKS? Not even remotely likely.

They banked their pardon, LORAL/RED CHINA money that year.

365 days a year, not counting leap years.. Average of $400,000 and $100,000 is $250,000. Using that average would mean he gave 64 speeches a year. Slightly more than one a week.

This is true, they had lots of legal bills related to Bill's issues, making all the more striking that a President who sat during one the most relaxed antitrust environments since the advent of those laws -somehow- made tens of millions?!? in -speaking fees- subsequently? Suuure.

That the Clintons left office deep in debt, yet today are decamillionaires tells us all we need to know about the integrity and honesty of American Executive machine politics today. I have no doubt whatsoever that Obama will end up even more wealthy than the Clintons... somehow... within a decade after his administration ends.

The amazing part of this is that bought and sold leftist voting blocs don't care about the obvious graft in the federal government... as long as the check's in the mail on Friday. Disgusting.

 

Which could mean that the Clintons had a mere Million Net worth
after leaving the WH,But that would never be enough to live the kind of
life they envisioned.Or have Hillary run for office.
So obviously the Clintons had " Expenses " after the Presidency.
Whereas during the Presidency they hadn't a single expense { when yer
President,Everything is taken care of.

 

Wouldn't White House Counsel and guys like aide Lanny Davis have
provided whatever legal assistance needed Pro Bono.

 

IIRC, the Clintons did in fact have millions in legal fees upon leaving office, they may have gotten some work done pro bono, probably did, but there could still be huge fees also. To me, it doesn't matter whether they left office broke, in debt or with a small nest egg, what gets me is how filthy rich they are today and how no ones seems to care.
