Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee is spouting more right wing wackiness. This is nothing new for Huckabee, he knows how to make his devout followers happy.

Now to please them, he is comparing the Western nation's nuclear deal with Iran to “marching Israelis 'to the door of the oven' “

Mike, you are only fooling the suckers of the right wing with your “oven” comparison, people of reason know you for the nut job you are.

Huckabee is another typical Republican war monger, devoted to maintaining endless U.S. military involvement in the Middle East to further enrich his war profiteering masters. Like the other Republicans, Huckabee is terrified diplomacy will work, saving countless innocent lives and cheating the war profiteers they serve out of hundreds-of-billions of borrowed dollars this country cannot afford.

Saying that the Iran deal will stop Iran from building a nuclear weapon is like saying that a hill will stop a runner. It might slow him down a bit, but it's not going to do anything in the long run.

He happens to be correct about the Obama nuclear deal giveaway with Iran being equivalent of marching Israelis to the door of the oven. It's just that 'Give Away the Store' Obama had hoped that nobody Right of Center would have the guts to tell the world the truth in that regard. Well surprise!

 

Why is that craziness? Iran has stated that their objective is to destroy Israel and all Jews. It is written in their Koran, for goodness sake! The Muslims sided with HITLER in the war because they shared that same goal. Now the US has to defend Iran's nuclear sites from aggressors?? You can not trust liars. (Look at Obama) Iran has been lying and deceptive since these people came to power. Are you THAT naive? You don't put weapons into the hands of the #1 sponsor of terrorism. Is that LOGICAL? If they just bought planes from Russia, where do you think they got the money? Obama is going to give it to them.

I am center-right, and there is something very dislikable about Huckabee. My dislike of him only increased after one of the child rapists he pardoned came to the Seattle-area and killed four cops. The thought of this persistent presidential wanna-be becoming president is about as scary as it gets. Thank God there is no chance of that.

While Huckabee's comments might have been a bit over-the-top, I find it absolutely incredible that anyone believes that Iran will honor any part of that "agreement", based upon their history. I find it amazing that anyone believes that the ayatollahs will show any restraint in using their nuke when they finally get one, even if it assures their own destruction, or that this "agreement" in any way mitigates their ability to get one or deliver it. I find it frustrating that the US is barred from any inspections, and are bound by the "agreement" to defend Iran's nuclear program (even against Israel). I think it's ridiculous that the left is so blindly in support of this, as if it were in any way a good thing for anyone other than Iran.

1) Iran's enrichment capability must be capped at the minimum level necessary for nuclear power.
2) Iran must stop supporting terrorism. If they continue supporting terrorism, it will be considered a violation of the agreement.
3) Iran must free the Americans who are in Iranian prisons.
4) Snap inspections of every military sight and nuclear facility in Iran.
5) Americans must be allowed to inspect the facilities.
6) The United Nations Security Council doesn't get to decide anything. Russia and China will veto any resolution that hurts Iran, thereby making it impossible to enforce the deal as long as the UNSC gets a say.
7) If we accuse them of violating the agreement, they are guilty until proven innocent.
The arms embargo must stay in place.

So on and so forth.

 

1. Already the case under the current deal.
2. How do you enforce and prove this? Iran already claims to not be supporting terrorism.
3. What does this have to do with nuclear weapons?
4. Iran will never agree to that and no nation will back our demand for it. More to the point, no nation on Earth would ever allow a nation that might invade it to be able to snap inspect its military facilities.
5. Why? Would we allow North Korea to inspect our military and nuclear facilities?
6. Not having China and Russia on board means anything we attempt is defunct from the start.
7. Iran would never agree to that. More to the point, neither would any other nation and no nation will back our demand.
8. China and Russia are diametrically opposed to this and unless you are willing to sink their ships or shoot down their planes, you can't enforce it.

 

Huckabee is sick, even their own leader said that IRAN could have a nuke in a few months before the deal, now he says it would not be before 10-15 year after deal

I agree, and I am very liberal. Iran took US diplomats hostage in 1979. Iran is hostile to the US and certainly to Israel.

 

The students had been protesting for many months before the Shah left the country on medical leave.. Then the hardliners arrived and took control of the revolution. Our intelligence (US intelligence) on what was happening in Iran was extremely poor so we were blind-sided.

 

If trying to reach a nuclear deal with Iran is "marching Israelis to the oven door", then what is selling arms to Iran?

I'd like to hear Huckabee's reaction to the Iran-contra Affair.
