The WNs or the Antfas? I saw videos depicting both sides with armaments and fighting each other. Also, why did the authorities grant the WNs a permit in the first place ? Didn't they even suspect there would be problems? What about the Governor Terry McCauliffe? Why did his police force cow tow to WNs? (stand down) In his speech he denigrated WNs but his actions show the opposite....And I KNOW he's a Democrat lefty.

Now, since it HAD to be apparent to anyone involved outside of the WN folks organizing the rally(although, you can bet they were itching for a fight.... Like the counter protesters) with a pulse, that this would likely turn violent due to whomever's actions, more resources, including the NG should have been deployed, & instead of letting things continue to escalate once skirmishes broke out, it should have been immediately shut down

 

Yeah McAuliffe reminds me of Nero presiding over a burning Rome and then making soaring proclamations about his questionable morality.

 

And then admonishing everyone else, for the situation. Exactly.

 

Anyone on either side that resorted to violence. The idiots had a right to have their protest. Those counter protesting had the same right. The fact is that the counter protesters have done more to HELP spread the idiots ideology then their march ever would have. Every post on FB, every news article written gives them legitimacy. Frankly folks you are all helping the Altright agenda.

 

Yes however, it seems to me that the City, County and State were ill prepared for what they knew could happen. They did not have the resources to stop infiltration into the park from more than one place. The governor could have called for more help before the first protestors arrived. And BTW, what government fool thought that Emancipation Park was a good place to let white supremacists have their rally?

I don't think that white supremacist ideology is going to spread very far because 99.9% of Americans reject it.

 

All three obviously or they wouldn't be under consideration. People just like to cast blame on groups they don't like or away from groups they do like.

According to the police chief, the White supremacists/storm troopers violated their agreement with the police department by going in through the wrong entrance to the event. So the blame rests solely upon the shoulders of the alt-right this time.

 

We obsess way to much with blame. A better question is what are we going to do to fix the problem?

Blame is safer, it allows us to deflect responsibility. We are all to blame. We all play a roll. We all could do more.

All of them came itching for a fight. I do think that we need a new law that weapons should not be allowed to be carried by anyone in a protest.

The rally folk had a permit. The police pulled their cover at the last minute, at which point the lefty fascists started attacking. Beyond actually simply being there, I don't know how you can blame the "white unite" group.

 

What I'm finding fascinating is attacking the messengers but ignoring the messages. Which side had the message you respect
