Yes. The International Socialists and the National Socialists have been at war with each other since the ideologies formed, but not in ideology, over who would ultimately clamber to the top of the **** heap they want to reduce all other forms of government to. Neither of them are Constitutionalists. Neither of them recognize inherent morality. Neither of them value virtue Neither of them recognize inalienable rights. Neither of them have any interest in limited government. It's a fight between Hyenas and Jackals. The Fake News and the Left is allied with one of the two sides and claiming "It's us or them!" As if we live in binary world where if we don't choose the International Socialists we are colluding with the National Socialists. It's really fkn nuts, and juding by the polling I'm seeing, the Electorate is not the least bit fooled. Only rabid Democrats support removing the statues. Everyone else include soft Democrats support leaving them up, even by super majority they support it. Every Geographic groups supports leaving the statues alone, even the northeast. Age groups, demographic by demographic, what the Fake News Media is claiming is the mainstream of the American People is not. Quite frankly, Trump's views that he voiced at his press conference captured the the mainstream of American Opinion. It's like it's 9pm on election night, over and over and over for these folks!
They are falling everywhere!! There's room for just one flag in America. "After Charlottesville, only one flag will fly at Six Flags amusement parks BY BILL HANNA billhanna@star-telegram.com AUGUST 18, 2017 12:10 PM ARLINGTON, TEXAS Ever since Six Flags opened in 1961, the six flags that have flown over Texas have been a staple of the park. No more. As of Friday morning, the five flags other than the United States flag — representing Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas and the Confederacy — are being left to the history books. The park received criticism following last weekend’s violence in Charlottesville, Va., from TMZ, Fox News and others for flying the Confederate states flag. As a result, Six Flags Over Texas decided to take down all but the U.S. flag." Read more here: http://www.sacbee.com/news/nation-world/national/article168006437.html#storylink=cpy
I agree that pushing whites aside to put less qualified blacks in colleges and jobs isn't equal, so what more are you asking for?
Sure. https://www.flickr.com/photos/vieilles_annonces/4714692797/in/album-72157624036175005/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/vieilles_annonces/5959747852/in/album-72157624036175005/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/vieilles_annonces/5045211646/in/album-72157624428147638/
I think it depends on the back story... That group in Charlottesville was headed up by an Obama supporting former Occupy leader. It's looking like this was just a stage to negatively reflect on whites. That's a theory, but I can tell you for sure that as a long time member of the SCV (Sons of Confederate Veterans), it's strongly advised that we never associate with, or mix in with these types of groups if we're involved in demonstrations or parades or anything like that, and anyone of us caught with people like that will be banned from the SCV for life. These people have pretty much ruined our image, and we've never been involved in any of the antics. We take Confederate emblems serious and don't use them for anything other than pride.
Agreed! If there is a period in history that is best not repeated, it would be a good idea to remember what it was. There also seems to be a tendency to ignore the fact that America was the first nation in history to ban slavery. I would think there should be some sort of pride surrounding that fact.
You guys aren't anything if not confident in your predictions: The prospects for a Clinton landslide In two national polls, Clinton has moved to a double-digit lead. According to the RCP electoral map with no toss-ups, she has 340 electoral votes to Trump’s 198. Yup, right now this looks more like Ronald Reagan’s 1980 romp than either of Obama’s wins. It’s entirely possibly things will get even worse for Trump for several reasons. First, early voting is underway in many states. Coincidentally — or by design, if you fancy the Clinton camp as particularly skillful — she is surging as early voting peaks. Second, Trump is now in burn-it-down mode. His campaign is now virtually identical to a talk-radio show or Fox Non-News nighttime show. It’s about re-litigating the 1990s, criminalizing Trump’s opponent, attacking the “establishment,” cooking up conspiracies (illegal immigrants are pouring over the border to vote!) and lionizing Trump because he “fights.” This is the land of right-wing nuttery that far too many Republicans inhabit. This is the province of Trump’s core base (less educated older white men) and few other segments of the electorate. At this rate, he’s heading for 40 percent or less of the popular vote; a humiliating defeat, in other words. Third, Republican officeholders are abandoning him in droves. The portrait of the GOP at this point is one of chaos and abject panic. As Republicans shake loose, Clinton is poised to pick them off. She now is running a bunch of ads aimed directly at Republicans And finally, at some point, the bandwagon effect kicks in. Trumpkins get demoralized and stay home; Clinton supporters become more enthused. Less-political voters want to be in on the victory celebration. We have already seen in one national poll independents tip heavily her way. (“The shift toward Clinton is driven almost entirely by movement among independent voters. One week ago, Trump led Clinton 44-36 among independent voters. Those numbers have roughly flipped, with 44 percent backing Clinton now, and 33 percent supporting Trump.”) If one believed from the onset of this campaign that Trump was seriously unbalanced, amateurish and self-destructive, his current dilemma was entirely predictable. Yes, he snookered a gullible and divided GOP into handing him the nomination, but Lincoln’s adage was never more on point: You cannot fool all of the people all of the time. Thank goodness! https://www.washingtonpost.com/blog...r-a-clinton-landslide/?utm_term=.4d2dbc5ef940
I don't know, who? Those Nazis in the RW parade, probably. Maybe the terrorist who mowed down those people.
They don't just want to tear down statues: "IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE A GUY ON THE TV NEWS SAID IT'S THE RIGHT WHO IS VIOLENT".
And then Comey unprofessionally and completely against DOJ rules told the world they were reopening the investigation into Clinton's emails.
Dallas will fall. "Dallas' 4 black City Council members say Confederate statues 'must and will be removed' — after process FILED UNDERDALLAS CITY HALL AT 33 MIN AGO SHARE Confederate monuments on public land "must be and will be removed," Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway said Friday. And the city's three other black City Council members vehemently agree. But in a show of unity at a joint press conference Friday, Caraway, Tennell Atkins, Casey Thomas and Kevin Felder said that unlike some of their white council counterparts who have been pushing for the statues' removal, they do not believe there is a need to take them down immediately. All four said they agreed with Mayor Mike Rawlings' call for a "process," including citywide discussions, that will likely lead to the eventual removal and possible relocation of monuments in Robert E. Lee Park in Oak Lawn and Pioneer Cemetery next to Dallas City Hall. " https://www.dallasnews.com/news/dal...confederate-statues-must-will-removed-process
Back when the Stars and Stripes flew over the country, and the Democrat party refused to address slavery........which gave birth to the Republican party. And it remains the party of equality and freedom. While them good ol boy Democrats still think blacks can't quite make it on their own. The Dems used to buy their bodies. Now they buy their votes, minds and souls with the help of race traitors like Jackson and Sharpton.
Bunch of cowards. All the times I've been there, this is what I remember about Six Flags, besides the rides. You don't notice things like this unless you're searching deep for things to be offended about.
OK, and I believe you on the pride part, as there certainly was a large measure of sacrifice and bravery shown. However as you also hint at, one must be careful concerning the cause behind the secession. For example, I do believe the stars and bars must not show up on flags, flagpoles, etc, of today's government.
Wyrd is nothing like you from what I see, besides being a poster on PF. I don't care for either extreme side either, what I hate is seeing things that have nothing to do with this (i.e Confederate Flags and statues), being thrown in the middle as if it's going to bring the hate to a halt if they're eradicated. It's not the symbols that are the problem, it's the people using them for the wrong reasons.
