In a fight to the death, yes. But there are multiple scenarios in which Batman could get the drop on Logan.
What could batman do to him? He can literally regenerate from any wound. His claws cut through ANYTHING. He can't be poisoned. He's far stronger and faster than even a top rated human like batman. In a fight? Batman loses. In tripping him up so batman can run away, batman could probably do that.
Wolverine can take anything that Batman throws at him, and can just carve him up if he got close enough.
I think batman. Why? Wolverines, while tough as nails, aren't sneaky. They move in on wolves eating a kill and chase them away. They attack or harass black bears. They just don't have any surprise in them They are smart and confident. Batman has weapons and devices he uses. He can find something to run off Wolverine. He's also sneaky and silent or near silent when he wants to be. My bets on Batman, even though I like Wolverine better.
` Wolverine for the win. Not only does he have a skeletal body and claws made up of adamantium, super human senses and rejuvenation/self-healing powers, his fighting skills are homo-superior. Batman (Bruce Wayne) just his not his equal in that respect. `
Even if Batman gets the drop on Wolverine, HE CAN'T WIN the ensuing fight. It's a physical impossibility. I mean Wolverine was torn apart at the molecular level and sent over 1/2 a century back in time and didn't even say oww. Batman ambushes Wolverine and punches him. Wolverine laughs and invistrates Batman. Fight over in about 20 seconds.
The other thing about Wolverine is his age, he's at least 200 years old and has been around the world and studied all kinds of fighting and culture, so he knows tons of ways to fight. And this fight is assuming he doesn't fall into a Berserker Rage, in which case Batman is all kinds of dead. He's also extremely durable, he got nuked once and was reduced to his adamantium skeleton, only to heal right back up seconds later. I doubt Batman has anything quite that strong on him.
Wolverine is strong, dangerous and nigh on invulnerable but Bats is fast, skilled and has all his wonderful toys. Wolverine won't be able to lay a claw on him before he's all tied up in carbon steel wire which even Adamantium will take a minute to cut through. Then Bats employs his secret weapon. He TALKS to him, clears up the misunderstanding that's having them fight and they both get the X-Men and the Justice League to go find whatever super-villain put them at each other's throats
With prep, Batman. Without, it is harder to tell. The whole "Batman can beat anyone as long as he has prep time" thing is annoying, but it is established comics lore.
This also gives me flashbacks to the astronauts vs cavemen debate from Angel. Astronauts = Batman, cavemen = Wolverine.
Even with prep, Batman can't win. Unlike Superman, Wolverine doesn't have a weakness to exploit. Batman might last longer with prep but he'll never win a physical fight.
Magneto can control his bones (but not his muscles and Wolverine can recover near instantly from any injury so that's only a stopgap) the others are pure plot armor which shouldn't apply in this comparison.
But he can't always recover instantly. There have been plenty of times when he's been physically incapacitated. Magneto ripped the adamantium from his bones and it sent him into a coma. That's an extreme example, but he's also been electrocuted into unconsciousness, knocked out with blunt objects, knocked out by energy blasts, etc. Honestly, plot armor is the strongest thing either hero has going for them.
And Wolverine will swim out of it. It'll be a living hell (literally) but it wouldn't kill him. The man has gotten nuked before. Now if Superman picked up a knocked out Wolverine and flew him to the sun, maybe.
Depends on if he regenerates faster than he burns, and if the magma is hot enough to melt the adamantium. But hey - plan B: Wolverine can be incapacitated. After that, he can be sent into the sun.
Maybe. lol Though to be honest Lee would have to apply quite a bit of plot armor for Wolverine to get out of that 1. That being said, Superman does need air.
Is he? I'm a Marvel man myself (though the DC tv stuff is a fun diversion before bed) so aside from cross franchise stuff like the X-Men I'm not really familiar with the DC universe.
