And the GOP who run Congress will do nothing about it. Be careful folks. We have a Constitutional Crisis about to happen
I agree with you, it could very well happen. This is a post I just made in another thread, it is appropriate here as well: Trump would be wise to listen to the advice of Trey Gowdy, which likely means the buffoon will try and do the opposite, LOL. As for Republican "leadership" - they've already gone all-in for Trump, they've rolled the dice and are prepared to live with the consequences. I somewhat believe they think there will be no consequences to firing Mueller, and they will do whatever it takes to ensure there are no consequences. They likely figure they're done in the mid-terms anyway, might as well go all-in. We'll see......
Trump has little choice in the matter. If he tells Mueller the truth he's out on his ass. If he lies to Mueller he's out on his ass. Firing Mueller will be a strong test of the hold he has on our politicians.
No constitutional crisis at all. The constitution provides for impeachment. No crisis arose when Nixon was impeached, or Bill Clinton avoided impeachment along partisan lines. Trump should fire Mueller, and Rosenstein too. The IG report may trigger those firings. GOP congressmen who've only seen glimpses of that report say that it's very disturbing. If that report implicates Rosenstein, and it will, Mueller is in jeopardy too. They should have taken Obamas advice ... "By the book".
Give mueller 30 days to bring charges against donald trump for conspiring with the russian governent If he cant then thank the old swamp rat for his service and let him go
Oh, not this sh#t again lol..... The libs and the media recycle this "Trump to fire Mueller" garbage every few months, usually when a swamp creature bites the dust exposing the folly, false pretenses and witch hunt hallmarks of Mueller's investigation in the process.
For many, Drumpf's Twitter rant raised a fear that he would try to shut down the investigation. “If he tried to do that,” said Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, “that would be the beginning of the end of his presidency." Then by all means try to shut it down.
I thought you alt-lefties said Trump was already supposed have fired Mueller and Trump never did. This is just more recycled crap in order to gin up the alt-left base.
I would bet against Trump firing Mueller, but who knows. If Mueller's investigation drags on into 2019 looking at finances, golf courses, boats, and shoe sizes it is probably more likely. It would still likely be a political crises but it would not by any stretch be a constitutional crises, though that would be surely shouted from the rooftops by the knowledge challenged.
He doesn't need to fire Mueller. He can do just like Hillary did. CNN: Clinton Told FBI She Didn’t Recall 39 Times freebeacon.com/.../cnn-clinton-told-fbi-she-didnt-recall-39-times Hillary Clinton said she told the FBI she didn't “recall” 39 times according to the investigation report ... that you don't know that you can't talk about
Robert Mueller is wasting taxpayer dollars on a pointless witch Hunt. Part of the reason President Trump was elected was to cut wasteful spending and he's going to do exactly that.
And those seven separate Benghazi investigations that resulted in nothing weren't a waste of money? You had no problem with those
If trump illegally colluded with the russian governent muellar has had enough time to find the evidence
What should be done is the commission be disbanded. It was set up to find collusion between Trump and the Russians to sway the election to Trump. They have admitted there are no Americans involved in doing that. All they are doing now is looking into every facet of Trump's life hoping to find something to impeach him for. That is wrong.
Thanks for admitting it's a financially wasteful witch Hunt. But this President will clamp down on out of control government spending.
Trump can't fire Mueller. That has to be done by the AG. Trump can fire the AG if he refuses to get rid of Mueller.
