Yes, there is a lot wrong with America that Islam could probably fix. At the same time, there is a lot right about America that Islam would ruin. In the end, one cannot drive humans like cattle into heaven. God already has plenty of cattle. And humans, forced to serve, would not be happy or enlarged in godliness. Consequently, God would not be happy with resentful servants. And the whole purpose of life would be spoiled. What I find most attractive and loving about God or the concept of a perfect Father, is the fact that he has never forced himself upon us, like so many religions are want to do.

Apostasy is a word they tag on to a criminal conviction like rape or murder.. It means treason.. It means the criminal has betrayed the community and the faith.
