Wow...I know of not one single person over 50 who listens to Taylor Swift. I have lived in two different states in the past 10 years...young woman listen to her, not woman in their 50s. She was the opening act at a concert I went to several years ago. She spent the entire night flipping her hair....kid you not. I lost count at 58 flips. Thank god she got off the stage and the real artist finally made an appearance.

The careers of the Dixie Chicks and Oprah survived just fine, and somehow Ted "Crazy" Nuget has as well.

Yeah those are the Dixie chicks I am talking about. They are releasing a new album, the first one in over 13 years. Seems they hit the wall rather quickly. I actually was a big fan, and then they just disappeared. I actually followed the careers of Martie and Emily Erwin. Its really too bad, as it appears Natalie was a huge part of their downfall.

 

What’s funnier is no one has said she shouldn’t speaK. Please quote some important conservatives that claim Liberals shouldn’t be allowed to speak.

Is her personal life really such a mess? Sure, the media writes a lot about her love life, dates and breakups, but that kind of gossip is just grotesque and slanderous. Most women of her generation do date a lot and are not married at 30. I too think it is sad, but it is not as if this cultural shift is to be blamed on Taylor Swift and why should anyone even care about her personal life anyways?

I think it seems she herself is not bothered by the criticisms and gossip and that is why I do not think her personal life is a mess - She seems to be in full control.

The latest news is that Swift's new album - one released AFTER she started badmouthing Trump - has set personal records
for most sales and is on track to become her most downloaded album ever. She also now owns ALL rights to the songs (which she didn't in the past)
on this album, which means her profit margins will be higher than any previous album.

So OP. You can stop worrying that Swift has damaged her career, and this thread, like so many others started by the OP, has ended in a complete bust. It's what happens when people use right-wing blogs as information sources.
