    I’ll phrase it another way: she’s not the brightest bunny in the forest.

    The few times I have seen interviews with her, she has struck me as a well-spoken and smart girl. And judging from the fact that she is a world famous superstar who plays instruments and writes songs with actual content, it seems to me that she would be a bit above the average in terms of brightbess.

    She was not even being smug or pretentious when she said what she said as most celebrities tend to be when they decide to talk politics. She just shared her views in a fairly innocent manner. Insulting her intelligence is, I would say, below the belt and a behaviour that is not suitable for a Conservative.

    Leave Taytay alone!

    I bold texted the area of the comment I was replying to. If you can't grasp that, maybe stick to Reddit?

    @Fox Hastings:
    This has nothing to do with such principles because if she had made Pro Trump statements instead all of these GOP-fanboys would be screaming themselves sore of happiness from having a good-looking, female celebrity on "their side". The same applies for Liberals too because if she had spoken in favour of Trump and shared Pro Life opinions, they would be the ones crying.

    Political fanboy-ism is disgusting.

    She probably is a closet conservative. It is kind of impossible to be a celebrity and be an out conservative. That is not tolerated anymore.

    This is what makes Dave Chappelle's special on Netflix so unique. He is absolutely punching up. Perhaps one of the most iconic shows made by a comedian in the last decade. He calls out the leftist speech policing without mercy and with incredible wit. There can be no doubt that the authoritarian left will now come for his career. I hope that Dave "the God Comic" kicks their ass.

    No, that is what I mean. You don't pick fights with your kids over ridiculous things as taste in music or politics. Your teaching your kid intolerance. Save the battles for the short skirts and bare midriffs. I had two boys and arguing over politics, sports etc was something that I encouraged not stifled. But that is besides the point, we are talking about voting age females.

    Yeah, is it too late to point out that the Dixie Chicks were embarrassed of a President who started a war in Iraq based on false premises. I thought we were all embarrassed over that. Didn't Trump even say this? I wonder why his supporters don't follow.

    Making public statements against the Iraq war was suicide back then since the whole establishment agreed Saddam had WMD's and that a war in the desert was a must. Today, the establishment all agree that Trump is bad and repeting that line won't cause any controversy. The media will hug you even harder if you speak out against the POTUS.

    Taylor Swift is a Millennial female, of course she will have Milktoast-Liberal views on politics. It should not come as a shock to anyone.

    Taylor Swift did remain "neutral" (silent) up until now. A few years ago, it was Liberals trashing her for not speak up against Trump and now it is Conservatives trashing her for making Liberal statements.

    Just leave the girl alone already. :)

    This threads about now not a few years ago and yeah liberals did trash her for remaining neutral so maybe she felt forced to say liberal stuff. Good point

    LMAO...What part of, “We’re a democracy where you’re allowed to disagree, dissent, debate” do you fail to grasp?
    Not everyone is a meek beta cuk bending over for your obese orange hope.
    And you would celebrate that if you really cared about what made America great.
