The moderate Dems are getting worried all the bogus impeachment talk is going to cost them reelection.

    "
A day before the House Judiciary Committee took its biggest step yet toward impeachment last week, moderate Democratic Rep. Anthony Brindisi voiced his frustrations directly to Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The battleground freshman told Pelosi and other leaders at a closed-door meeting that he and other centrists feared that talk of impeaching President Donald Trump was threatening to swamp the Democratic agenda, according to multiple people in the room....

"..In the same meeting, another moderate in the room, Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.), pointed to alarming polling from the Democrats’ campaign arm, which showed that voters think the party is “prioritizing impeachment over other issues,” according to an internal summary obtained by POLITICO.""

Pelosi doesn't now what to do and is letting a rouge Nadler lead them down this path without getting a floor vote on whether to impeach.

"Another vulnerable freshman, Rep. Max Rose, gave the same warnings about impeachment in a private meeting with Nadler. A few days later, Rose unleashed his frustrations publicly with an op-ed in his hometown paper, cautioning that Democrats are “in danger of losing the trust of the American people” with its unrelenting focus on Trump."

If the sorry ass freshman Congress Critters won't do their constitutional duty regarding supervision of the President, why should they be elected again?

They should focus on winning the election and then making it as easy as possible for him to be prosecuted.
I would rather seem his assets seized and him in prison over him being impeached.

As of today Democrat’s are likely to help the house, Republicans are likely to keep the Senate, and the White House is a tossup.

I can't see myself voting for the Dems if Pelosi remains speaker.

Because he dared to beat Clinton and is a member of the opposing party. This is what leftist tyrants do around the world when they reclaim power...jail the opposition leader

I think it’s quite telling dems have had all these investigations going on since the campaign, and have found nothing of value.

most Americans want impeachment precedings... too soon to call for impeachment, not too soon to investigate

most think Trump can't win, so do not want him impeached as they want him to run, I say impeach in the house, then the Senate can do their thing, then the people can vote on it - this should be in the hostory books

Actually, it's not remotely too soon to call for impeachment.... There are 2 clear impeachable acts known now.... For crying out loud, Trump's own lawyer told Congress and the SDNY that the candidate directed him to perform felony CFV's for the purpose of influencing the election. What the hell else would you need??

Is that indictable?? Probably. Is that impeachable?? Well, only if you believe acts performed before becoming president can be impeachable, and I believe acts that were intended to lead to your election qualify. I don't think Trump could be impeached for anything illegal he might have done before he announced....

Not remotely too soon to write articles of impeachment on that AND the OOJ in the Mueller report. Not all of it, of course, but the top 3 - probably the Flynn, McGahn, Lewandowski sections..

On topic? Meh... Some folks are getting political pressure because there's too much to focus on... Once actual articles are written and a few acts focused on, all Dems will be on board...

Emoluments and other things require more hearings and investigations, if anybody wants to wait that long (I do not)...

    ahhh no

"WASHINGTON -- A majority of Americans oppose impeaching President Donald Trump, according to a new poll by Monmouth University released Thursday.

The data point -- with 59% of those surveyed responding that Trump should not be impeached and compelled to leave office -- comes as Trump’s approval rating remains at 40% in the same poll.

In the poll, there is a clear partisan divide on whether the House Judiciary Committee should pursue an impeachment inquiry. While 72% of Democrats believe such an inquiry is a good idea, only 39% of independents and 8% of Republicans share that belief."

Investigate what, what criminal referral? Where is the House vote authorizing an impeachment to begin? Remember Nadler said there is no difference in the terminologies being used. He has begun an impeachment without a vote of the House. Why?

They better be listening to the moderates else face losing the House over this bogus impeachment.

There was no campaign finance violation and OF COURSE candidates try to influence the outcome of an election, an outcome where they win.

    They shouldn't!

Run all the moderates out of the party at the point of a bayonet!

    RADICALS ONLY!

Burn the heretics! Purge the impure!

I'm loving this new leftist strategy.

It shouldn't be considered radical to uphold the Constitution and consider doing one of your primary duties... And it won't be when the time comes... In the end, it'll be as controversial as picking a weed out of your yard....
