Please show us a single prog candidate that is actually asking for border enforcement. That translates to open border anarchy, which is the unofficial prog position. I'm not walking back anything, <Rule 2>
How is there plee to have no wall and no ICE, and no deportations not the same thing as open borders? If you want to play the word game, go ahead but nobody here will fall for it
Democrats' Diversity -- Only in the Back of the Bus https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a...ty_--_only_in_the_back_of_the_bus_141904.html
Dems want money spent on 21st century solutions like camera drones, more border patrol officers, additional facilities with the ability to house would-be immigrant families together, more courtrooms and judges to process their applications in a more timely manner. Oh, and perhaps some soap and toothbrushes. Trump's wall is a 12th century method that we already know they can get through with a cordless power tool available at Walmart. Also, if they can't wait at the border station, which right now are simply turning everyone away, and cross illegally, that should not be a felony or a misdemeanor if they turn themselves in. They should pay a fine, like a speeding ticket. There is no need for Trump's draconian measures.
Obviously, you failed to read the post I quoted, try it. And yes, Lincoln wanted freed slaves to return to Africa.
Too bad there isn’t a single person on earth that we should allow into the country that just shows up on our doorstep. The ONLY people who should be allowed in are those with ID, money and an education. Everyone else need not apply because we don’t NEED them. Our country is not a charity where you come to leach off of the rest of society. But that’s exactly what the vast majority of illegals do combined with creating new generations of leeches exploring our outdated anchor baby policy.
Imagine if that sentiment had existed 100 to 150 years ago. Think of what we would not have now, if we had allowed only educated people with money to immigrate. Read a history book or two, look at who immigrated to America back then, and the enormous contributions they or their descendents have made to the overall good of America.
