Anyone that’s an idiot. Wish the gop would try it. I’ll vote for mitt Romney over someone who wants to take my healthcare. Why won’t the gop give me a regular republican to vote for?

Republicans criticising Dems for a lack of diversity? That’s rich.

Dems have fielded a black candidate for president. And he won. They fielded a woman candidate. And although she lost the election, she got more votes than anybody else.

No - it’s you criticizing Dems. Your “rightly so” confirms that.

    So are you a lefty?

The only use the Democrats have for people of color is to vote for them, other than that stay on their side of the tracks.

And the last Democrat who was President was...? Give it up, dude. The Republicans have never nominated a non-white, non-male candidate for President. The Republicans have less than 1% of Senate members who are non-white. They have few members of The House that are non-white. They have only nominated one non-white person to the Supreme Court. The odds are simply against that occurring unless there is an underlying bias against non-white people in the Republican Party.

Dude, really? You are going to pretend that Obama didn’t exist? You’re going to pretend that the only non-white Senators serving right now are Democrats? You’re going to pretend that the non-white Democratic Representatives in the House outnumber the Republicans ten to one?

Why would you post a moronic bit of nonsense as you did?

The Democrats had 2 years of super majority in Congress as well as the White House with Obama and waited till December 2010 with the Republicans poised to take over Congress with a 69 seat win to even address Immigration reform. Sad, just very sad.

There is still a feeble remnant of my old liberal populism that agrees with you.

What have we had for serious candidates in the 21st-century so far? Mega-millionaire "W" Bush, the scion of the Bush dynasty. Barack Obama, the hand-picked, politically-correct 'house boy' for the wealthy coalition of hyperliberal-Leftist "Limousine Liberals". Hillary Clinton, the 'empress' of the 'Clinton Foundation' corruption and extortion machine. Donald Trump, the free-wheeling billionaire gambler/entrepreneur who has changed his political party affiliation five times since 1987.

And now we've got the richest billionaire of them all -- Michael Bloomberg! Forbes calculates Bloomberg's wealth (as of Nov. 2019) at FIFTY-EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS.

My guess at this point is that the contest will be between billionaire Trump and über-billionaire Bloomberg. "Meet the new boss... same as the old boss" -- The Who, "Won't Get Fooled Again", from the album, "Who's Next"....

It's sort of ironic that the Dem Party's primaries process has twice turned out that way since Obama left office. Gasp! It's almost as if the Dem Party is now a party of racists! More amazing is that ultimately they will ALWAYS end up going with the rich and old and White -- male or female; and then HOWL about the racism and bigotry that supposedly infuses the GOP, and also HOWL about how EVIL rich old white people are.

Hell, they were howling about that back when it was rich old and White Bernie squaring off against rich old and White Hillary WHILE exclusively pointing their trembling fingers of shame . . . rightward. It . . . was . . . hilarious.

When did Booker drop out? He claims to be POC when it is politically expedient.

The last I heard, Booker threatened to drop out if people didn't send him money, but he hasn't quit yet....

I dunno about being a "POC". Booker's part of a new generation of Leftist, hi-vi "minorities" who's trying to ride "Messiah" Obama's coattails into the Oval Office by being, sort of 'blackish'. But, with or without the money he's trying to get, he'll go the way of Kamala-la-la before much longer. When he bails, one wonders if he'll return the money he's collected to his donors....

The overriding question: who wants another ding-a-ling like Obama in the White House...? And, fortunately for the country, the 'something-for-nothing' crowd hasn't completely taken over here... yet.

The Left is always all about race and minorities and gender and then twice now in four years they end up fielding ONLY a run of rich White people. It's almost as if they don't actually MEAN the words that endlessly spew from their mouths. Think about Barack and Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren. A Black a homosexual and a woman. Each one artificially elevated way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past their levels of proven competence into the presidential competition arena simply and ultimately because of either their skin tone or sexual habits or gender . . . and actual qualifications to BE president of the most powerful and influential nation in the history of humanity itself . . . be . . . damned.

Very well said! And, unfortunately for us, our primary opponents in the world, Russia and China do not afflict themselves with the same kinds of delusional, politically-correct idiocy and nonsense!

In those countries, "diversity" and "inclusiveness" notwithstanding, the strong survive, the smart ascend into power, and the capable, effective ones project authority and determination while they develop the means for prosperity and security -- intelligently!

By contrast, all I see among today's new liberal Democrat 'stars' is the shallow behind-the-scenes message that says, "I'm a minority, or I'm weird, or I'm 'cool' -- so VOTE FOR ME!"

The only exception among Democrats I've seen so far is that of Andrew Yang, who does happen to be quite intelligent, and who does happen to be a 'minority' (Oriental) -- but he doesn't WEAR it like Mardi Gras costume....

[IMG]. "Vote for me 'cuz I'm cool like Obama!":spin:

Far lower than any Trump supporter, who constantly bray and bleat over their pathetic complaints.

Yeah, the left is always about race, gender and sexual habits until it comes time to vote for the en masse. That's when conservatives get blamed for being racists, misogynists and homophobic even though it was the democrats who didn't support the people they say will lead us to paradise. Of the people who are going bonkers over Harris dropping out due to a lack of support, how many of them actually supported her? Was she the top guy on Sharpton's list?

So any way, how does skin color or gender make a person a better or worse candidate?

Eventually the Left might discover that while endlessly pandering to the least productive instincts of humanity is a way to gain power it carries with it the seeds of its own political destruction. Eventually you actually have to produce or go under as a people. It simply should not matter what one does or does not have between one's legs or the tone of one's skin. The collective Left needs to change their priorities.

The fun thing is that even as our leftists HOWL about how vitally important race, ethnicity, or gender is . . . absolutely none of them can convincingly answer your last question as to, "how does skin color or gender make a person a better or worse candidate?"
