That’s not hate. It is a realistic assessment of intellectual capabilities. Believing in an imaginary sky faery isn’t exactly a sign of intelligence. Most people give up believing in the Easter Bunny or Santa Clause somewhere before reaching their teens. Belief in a god is no different intellectually.
Well if we are going to go off on idiotic conspiracy theories mine says America planted it to place the blame on the Chinese. After all if this is a bio weapon it is pretty ineffective at killing which would say that given the Trump administrations record of mind numbing incompetence it is much more likely that America developed it instead of the Chinese.
So your position is believing in an imaginary being for which there is no evidence is intellectually superior to not believing. you used to argue that they were intellectually equal but guess you have gotten sillier over time. Does Santa still bring you presents? Does the Easter Bunny still bring candy? You have probably discarded two out of three childhood faery tales. Why not grow up all the way?
Why would anyone be such an egomaniac to think that they have the ability to define their betters, let alone their God?
That's the period where you tried to pretend I hadn't heard of the 1st and 10th amendments. Tell me what point you would like to make about somthing that is happening today.
And whatever "results" God intends, he'd be able to achieve them without a pandemic if he were omnipotent.
You can't claim I'm dodging anything until you present something that could be dodged. You started out with nonsense about me being religious and now cite Reynolds!! But, you aren't even explaining why. Please remember that Reynolds comes with an articulated decision. If there is something you disagree with in that decision, please let me know. Obviously, there will always be issues that include elements of religion.
You haven't even posed a question!!! Several times now I've asked what your question. Until then, you are playing childish games.
Projecting eh Asked and answered, if its to tough for you fine, its very simple, just drop it, I have.
You have not asked me ANY question about our application of the constitution to issues with a religious element. All the rest was totally off topic.
and our dodging isnt? 2 choices respond to the claim or drop it, because you are beyond the point of no return.
Yet, they are often accused, as are many in science of having a an anti-God religion by many believers. In the last couple decades some atheists have loosely organized to follow a common doctrine of resisting religious prostelizatizn and have become militant in demanding, based on their reading of the 1A, interpreted as an edict for doctrine of a strict separation of ‘church and state, thus requiring all traces of religion or mention of God in public. My reading of the 2a is that the state is prohibited from imposing a state religion and that of citizens are free to have (and express) their own beliefs. This is also reflected in the body of the Constitution where religious tests cannot be used as criteria to determine suitability of candidates for public office. I see an equivalence between those, and I have seen suggestions of this in this forum, that Christianity be the base for Law in the US and those advocating a strict suppression of religious expression in public. While I am a frequent critic of organized religion, resist prostelizatizn of any doctrine, I believe people should be free to have and express their beliefs what ever they are. From my perspective, those that believe in a God or Gods, and those of atheistic belief have the same level proof to ‘truth’, and, as long as there is no advocacy for requiring the state establish a common religion, I think people should be allowed to their beliefs. I have an issue when groups advocate suppression of one belief system over another.
Why would an egomaniac think god is their better? In fact why would an egomaniac think anyone is their better.
1. Nice dodge.. 2.any human who is an egomaniac by definition has betters because being an egomaniac is a serious character flaw.
