Yah, the statistics on signature verification are real bad. It's something like 98%+ challenged signatures are actually valid. Considering that you have to sign on a pen pad in a lot of states when you get your driver's license or whatever, and you sign on a piece of paper when you vote by mail, it's a wonder that anyone's signatures match.

 

Or how about some sort of personal information like your DL number or last 4 of the SSN.

We had to give our DL number to prove who we were to even get a ballot in the mail.

 

Part of the problem is the black box the votes go into once you've voted. As we've seen, whether human error or computer error or worse, votes can be registered incorrectly, and there's no easy way to verify your vote was counted the way you cast it.

 

This is a very fair criticism/concern. In Colorado, you can verify that your ballot was received and counted, but not how it was recorded (i.e. that it recorded everything correctly). I assume that's because of worries that who people voted for could be figured out. I wish you could save the number from your ballot and use it to see how the votes on it were recorded.

 

Literally anyone could walk into the arena and next to the ballots. This was proven by undercover journalists. Cyber Ninjas has not experience in this which is why Republicans hired them in the first place.

 

Sounds like they have at least as good a track record as the Fulton County actual vote counters.
