Did you expect Democrats and progressives to reject the verdict of an international war crimes tribunal just because the hearings were held in an Islamic nation?

“War crimes expert and lawyer Francis Boyle, professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law in America, was part of the prosecution team.

After the case he said: “This is the first conviction of these people anywhere in the world.”...

“We tried three times to get Bush in Canada but were thwarted by the Canadian Government, then we scared Bush out of going to Switzerland. The Spanish attempt failed because of the government there and the same happened in Germany.”

Boyle then referenced the Nuremberg Charter which was used as the format for the tribunal when asked about the credibility of the initiative in Malaysia. He quoted: “Leaders, organizers, instigators and accomplices participating in the formulation or execution of a common plan or conspiracy to commit war crimes are responsible for all acts performed by any person in execution of such a plan.”

I agree that those who persistently try to spread misinformation, like Trump supporters on the election, need to be confronted all the time.

Those who deny that election rigging in the US are denying the inconvenient truth that everyone knows by .now

“Despite all of the ways foreign hackers have already made it into our election infrastructure, Congress has refused to arm state and county elections officials with the knowledge and funding they need to secure their systems,” Wyden said. “I fear the 2020 election will make 2016 look like small potatoes.”...

“The SAFE Act has all three key elements recommended by our nation’s top cybersecurity experts: paper ballots, security standards and post-election audits, as well as the funding necessary to make sure states can live up to the new standards,” Wyden continued. “Mr. President, the SAFE Act represents the most comprehensive defense against foreign election hacking. I urge my colleagues to reconsider their opposition to this vitally important legislation.”

Warner attempted to pass the Foreign Influence Reporting in Elections (FIRE) Act and Blumenthal attempted to pass the Duty to Report Act, both of which require campaigns to report if they are contacted by foreign actors seeking to influence American elections.

You mean something that Trump and campaign were suppose to do, denied it, 2 republican senate committees confirmed his team did, and yet claimed others were at fault with no evidence.

Bray and bleat all you want. :)

People who buy into the Big Lie aren't the most critical of thinkers in the first place.

Oh sure, Republicans are torching Portland Oregon, blowing up Minneapolis and painting enormous signs on our nations roads, all to destroy America.

    Biden is handling that quickly.

I am pleased that the term authoritarian for Democrats is catching fire. Those reading me know this has been my message for many years.

So let's define it a bit.

This is older history but look at the era of FDR. FDR blanketed this nation with a plethora of laws. Sold as recovery. But the truth is the Democrat party has long attempted to rebound from their civil war losses to simply lying about their own aims.
Biden is working hard to govern as the supreme authority. Mandates are a beginning.

That's can't be all it is. I mean, these people hold jobs and have kids and probably watch sports. They seem "normal". I mean, outside of liking Orange Jesus. The rest seems normal. How are they functioning in society without critical thinking skills?

Is that supposed to be responsive to something from my post to you?
If so, what. Please be specific - if possible.

So, you think Sen. Wyden just made it up, and our elections are really fair and secure?

How about Sen Schumer? Just another Trumpist?

“Sen. Charles Schumer led a chorus of Republican and Democratic senators on Sunday calling for a special bipartisan panel to investigate cyber attacks against the United States by foreign countries with a focus on Russia’s alleged efforts to influence the U.S. presidential election.

Charles Schumer, who will be Senate Democratic leader in the new U.S. Congress in January, and Republican John McCain, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said separately on Sunday a select committee was needed to ensure effective congressional focus on the hacking of Democratic Party emails during the campaign.

“The fact that they’re hacking our political system and trying to influence the outcome, as it seems to be, that is serious, serious stuff,” Schumer of New York told a news conference in New York. He said the panel should also examine hacking by other countries including China and Iran.”

Yeah 2 Republican Senate committees found out that Trump's campaign met with Russsian officials and put sanctions on Russian officials for the 2016 election. No fraud changed the election; that with AG William Barr :)

That’s completely different from the Big Lie. One is talking about foreign countries trying to influence the outcome of the election. Persuading people to vote differently than they would in the absence of the interference.
The Big Lie claims - falsely - that the result of the 2020 election was different, and that the result was changed through fraudulent votes. The fact that there isn’t a single shred of evidence to back this up seems to be irrelevant to the True Believers.

I'd root it in Woodrow Wilson and the "Progressive" movement that came out of the Left Wing Christian Church, and unfortunately, brought the worst characteristics of Calvinism with it.

President George W. Bush Blew It in Shanksville.

Dubya plants the knife right between the shoulders of those who supported his dad, supported him, but rejected his brother.
It was with shock that we watched him join those that hate us:
I did not expect to see Dubya join those against us on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Weird how they aren't burning down the country this year isn't it? Do you think the Democrats will begin burning down the country again next summer (for the midterms) or will they wait until the next Presidential election?

They are being more than confronted, we are getting them fired. All the liberals on the Oconomowoc school board are gone. EVERY.... SINGLE..... ONE..... We are now carefully examining the teachers, all subverters are being rooted out. The right is fully awake and in fight or flight mode. You can have whatever the hell you want in your communities. We insist on having whatever the hell we want in our communities.

So a mass murderer is suddenly concerned about violence now?

    • The actual number of civilians killed by direct and indirect war violence is unknown but likely much higher.
    • Life-threatening damage to Iraqi health care and other infrastructure has not been repaired: civilians are still dying in significant numbers.
And he get's worked up about a few loonies?
