Black Americans shot dead by police are twice as likely to be unarmed as whites

I find this whole thing about race recently to be just a red herring.

See black people in General seem to have higher numbers of dropouts incarceration poverty and violence.

As you can notice this all kind of started right around the time Barack Obama was elected.

If a black man can be president of the United States by election then the United States is not racist racist people do not vote for for people of other races to be president.

So these problems are thus not the fault of any of systemic racism and it was used is it excuse to blame problems on other people. See they do not want to take responsibility for it themselves when they do in the case of Kanye West they are attacked mercilessly.

I say all this to keep in mind the type of people you are arguing against and what they have to lose.

 

So if the cop you are interacting with has an ingrained fear (that you have a gun...that you are a dangerous young black man...that you are a dangerous young WHITE man...etc.) the wrong twitch gets you dead.

The crime rate among blacks are much higher than whites so it is no surprise they are more likely to be shot by police.

There may be too many guns, but the guns are a fact of life. Anyone with a lick of sense, just complies with the cop.

And, by the way, it does not have to be a scared cop. Just cop who reacts to a sudden movement just like they are trained.

I saw a video of a white kid (drunk) in a Vegas Hotel who was killed. The cop ordered him to his knees then to lie down. Then demands he get up on his knees again and cross his heels behind him and then orders him to crawl forward.
Then he shot him dead because "he didn't comply".

I know of another case where a kid was lying down on the ground but with his cell phone out in front of him videoing. The cop demanded he stop the video and began to try to wrestle it away. In the course of that he drew his gun and killed the kid.

There is a problem when that happens.

Neither cop went to jail. They lost their job...and went somewhere else for another LE job.

Isn't it -interesting- that despite being only 12.6% of the population in the United States, blacks commit 26.9% of all crime, 52.6% of the murders, 54.5% of the Robberies, 33.3% of Aggravated Assaults, and, in general 37.5% of all violent crimes?

Isn't it also interesting that in these same categories, Whites make up 72.4% of the population, commit 69.6% of all crime, but only 44.7% of the murders, 43.4% of the Robberies, 62.8% of Aggravated Assaults, and in general, 59.0% of all violent crimes?

It's almost like blacks are committing violent crime at a ratio of 2.976:1 and whites are committing violent crime at a rate of 0.815:1. Just on a ratio basis that would make blacks 3.652 times more likely to commit a violent crime. Golly gee, I wonder if that might have anything at all to do with cops being careful around them.

This just proves they are twice as likely to disobey a police officers commands. But the left will push the race card and people will get killed because they are taught that its ok to disrespect police and reach for objects in their pockets after being told not to. Then lefties tout it wasnt their fault ...its because the cop wanted to shoot black people. Rinse repeat.

 

In the black community, there is a tendency to take a combative attitude when they encounter the police which leads to violence. The police have came to expect this when dealing with the black community and it tends to make them a bit more nervous than they might be with a white person. I don't know the specific case you are talking about, but in many, if not most cases, the suspect has resisted if you read about the full account.

The solution is still what I have repeatedly stated. When confronted by the police, comply with their every command If you have a beef, bring it up at a later time.

 

Jesus what an absurd misrepresentation of what actually happened.

First of all, there were two people that the cops were called on, and they were called because the pair of idiots were drunk and displaying a BB Gun out of their hotel window. The cops had ZERO idea whether it was real or fake, or, how many other firearms were actually present.

Second, the officer said, MULTIPLE TIMES, throughout that entire video "comply with the orders. failure to comply means you will be shot." The suspect said, loudly, that he understood. The woman he was with had no issues complying with the officers and lived through the entire ordeal.

When the suspect was ordered to crawl towards the officers, he reached down to pull up his shorts. The officers screamed at him to put his hands back up. They said, again, very loudly and clearly, that if he did that again, they would shoot.

The suspect crawls forward again, and reaches BEHIND him, (presumably to pull up his pants again, in hindsight) and at that point he's shot and killed instantly.

No wonder people don't believe **** you progressives spout, it's all disingenuous garbage, with endless fact bending and outright lies. For the record, the kid that got splattered was white, not that his race had anything to do with it, but it goes to show you that when you are stupid enough to get yourself put into that situation, and you're given MULTIPLE chances to comply with an order, and told EXACTLY what will happen when you fail to comply, you get iced, regardless of your race.
