Yea doesn't have at thing to do with a long standing history of police violence against minorities that has been going on since this country was founded.

What is it telling? Isn't that the reason we have police because they are suppose to uphold the law.

It doesn’t support it, it suggests it. The problem here are percentages. The gun crime in the black community is off the charts and in essence a couple thousand times more likely than the rest of the country based on race. Of course this is mostly within certain inner-city urban areas that are rife with drug trafficking and other illegal issues.

This does not mean that I support police shooting anyone as I think we do have a problem with police shootings.

Why are drugs and guns so rampant in these areas, especially, since neither one is produced in these communities.

Why are they used? Culture? Poverty? Gangs?

Since they are just as available in surrounding communities without the crime begs the question.

They are funneled into black communities to keep them out of surrounding communities. Notice you never see folks standing on a corner in surrounding communities selling drugs.

So you thing black crime is being forced on them by others?

I think crime is contained in these communities, see the police are in white communities to prevent and stop crime. In many of these black communities they are there to contain it.

Pray tell who exactly is doing the funneling, and how? Beyond that matter, how does this supposed funneling keep instances of crime limited to only certain communities, while not being experienced in others?

Ah, so it’s a conspiracy in your opinion. What makes you think the surrounding communities are white And what makes you think police can stop crime in any community?

Just a bit of advice for everyone. If stopped or confronted by the police. Comply one hundred percent. If you think you have been stopped or confronted unjustly, the time to make your complaint is later under calmer circumstances.

Depending on the circumstances, the law enforcement officer might be nervous to start with and react more quickly than he should.

Law enforcement officers are generally very good people. There are some bad apples and like all other humans, they sometimes make mistakes. Don't compound the problem by resisting or mouthing off..

On a separate note. My wife and I drove through a suburb adjoining Ferguson a week or so after they had their problem.. A black man pulled up along side me and yelled that I had cut him off. I responded that, I did not realize I had cut him off, but, if I did I was sorry. He really did not want it to end there. We just drove away.

This little right wing, racist propaganda chart was debunked along time ago. Get some new material.

If confronted by police, you MUST do two things (if you value your life) >>

    1. Keep your HANDS VISIBLE to the officer.

    2. Keep your HANDS EMPTY.

And I'd bet you that guys over 6"2 and 250 lbs regardless of color are more likely to be shot while unarmed than men under 5'7" or women. And no by itself that doesn't prove bias in either case.

That is exactly the attitude that causes this...and it affects cops of all ethnicities

And it happens to whites as well. Cops treat everyone as if they are armed and dangerous. If you're black...their fear goes up for sure but they see young white males as dangerous and have even shot unarmed white females.

Too many guns and improper training

Part of the problem is small sample size. If anyone bothered to look I bet you could find 7 instances in which cops took into custody belligerant black guy with out killing him. Rodney king wasn't shot and killed for instance. I would also bet that in each of those seven cases there was more than one cop at the scene.

If the training is so improper, then why are the cops always being acquitted ?

One other piece of advice which may apply to only a small number of you. I am retied Air Force and have a retired Air Force ID card. I put my ID card over the window which displays my drivers license. The first card a law enforcement sees is my retired Air Force ID card. They almost always ask me about my service and I suspect it has saved me from getting more than one speeding ticket. It also sometimes gets me a discount at some stores when they see the card.

BLM is protesting unarmed black folks being killed by the STATE.

They have a point since it occurs so much more often to them than to whites but we should understand that it happens across the board and ALL are a problem.

Think about the horror of finding out that your son or daughter was killed needlessly in a traffic stop because they flinched at the wrong time.
