Hi Del, hope things are good over there. Yes, the rape thread closed. But I think it OPENED up and displayed a lot of right-thinking about rape from so many of us. Apart from the relatively small noise, the verdict was loud and clear. Thanks, Del. Right now drinking coffee and contemplating the mad rush of work. Better get moving soon. Hugs xx

I got knocked off earlier (internet thing), but am back for a while now. I saw that the rape thread was closed, but I also saw you had tremendous support for the sane position on the subject. That is hopeful! :sun:

I know that the farmer near the inlaws summer house uses some water towers (helps with water for irrigation...that can help alleviate much of the dependence on the water grid at least.

Its a shame I know so little of farming...my mothers family were all farmers! But I grew up in the city so....

Oh well I am off to bed...I get up so early. I also lost my best with hubby man (I vaccuumed and said I could go a day without doing it...he said I couldnt. He was right LOL).

You seem to be my kind of person, I too protest for my rights and others.
As for demons my biggest fight is with the ones I have in my dreams.
Sorry to cut this short but I got called in to work.
Getting called into work on a part time job that my hours was cut on now that could be considered a demon.lol
      Catch you tommorrow.

You are a virtual fountain of great ideas and have many workable projects in your head. The farming thing has no limits really. You could donate food to a food bank or even create a new food bank and people who need food could also donate time to doing work on the farm. There are many ways to go with this...selling to offset costs if also a great idea.

It would be a major uphill battle to get any sort of socialist into office in the US...currently its a corp owned govt 100%.

If you can tommarrow (or even later today) you should call some insurance companies and ask them to send you some info on group policies..the rates and coverage they provide and what the group size needs to be. Having your job be your insurance is difficult. My sons dad who works for chrysler is losing his job....and his insurance. His wife doesnt have a job that provides insurance so they are now all going to be uninsured. He is worried....he has high blood pressure (always has had it since his teen years) but now that he is older, well it becomes more of a risk and he needs to stay on medication (which will no longer be covered).

Its too much tied to a job...many people have their health insurance, income and even retirement all linked to that ONE JOB.

I love the school idea as well....day care would be another great thing to set up if you can. Thats always VERY hard to deal with..its expensive. Its amazing how much can be accomplished if we started using our resources for ourselves rather than leaking it all out to corrupt pockets...which is whats happened to the tax resource which could do ALL of this.

I love the farm idea! That is really great. Not only do you save money...its healthier! I am not very good at stuff like that but I wish I were. I would love to grow some of my own veggies and fruits.

I think its the direction we are heading in anyway...sustainable living models which mean breaking down into smaller communities and doing the most you can to sustain the community on its own. That cuts down on the pollution and problems of transport. Corporate farming has really helped destroy the food supplies!

Hmm you guys could probably do this with group insurance too so that people dont have to depend on their job to provide a group rate....someone should find out about that!
