In fact, after they captured Constantinopel, the Muslims appointed a Christian and a Jew to be the head of their own churches/temples in the city. Spain as well was very diverse. Spain radically changed when the Christians took over. The predominantly muslim nations were very diverse, until made a total mess of it in a pointless and illegal war. Same with France and how they handelend their colonies in North Africa. While Israel has an active policy to get Jews to immigrate to Israel.

While Christian forced conversion and conquest is founded in it's religion.
