I taught history for 3+ decades. I organized extensive learning programs on racism that involved students and their parents discussing, making presentations of their own (yes, parents--getting parents involved is very important), and getting feedback from students and parents on how they would like to see the issue addressed.

Most Illustrious Lord Cardinal warned Galileo that the above-mentioned opinion was erroneous and that he should abandon it; and thereafter, indeed immediately, before me and witnesses, the Most-Illustrious Lord Cardinal himself being also present still, the aforesaid Father Commissary, in the name of His Holiness the Pope and the whole Congregation of the Holy Office, ordered and enjoined the said Galileo, who was himself still present, to abandon completely the above-mentioned opinion that the sun stands still at the center of the world and the earth moves, and henceforth not to hold, teach, or defend in any way whatever, either orally or in writing; otherwise the Holy Office would start proceedings against him. The same Galileo acquiesced in this injunction and promised to obey.

So in other words...you don't have any data to back up your position.

    Thanks for your input.

    Of course, I do.

There is a lot of social science research on racism.

I'm sure the Cardinal thought so too.

    1) Well start working on your ****ing Progressives, because THEY are where the problems lie TODAY.

    2) See above. We're talking about 2021, not 1950. Though Progressives seem to want those days back again, given how determined they are to undermine and dishonour the 'helpless' brown people.

If it isn't addressing the stealth racism of the Progressive Left, it's compromised science.

Now WHY would an individual or institution go out of their way to run with such compromised science, when it comes to racism? Gee whiz .. if only there was an obvious answer ...

Most of it is social science, not science.
Your evidence the social science is "compromised" (whatever that means)?
Seems as you don't have any answers.

From now on, whenever anyone challenges my assertions, I'll just reply, "It's social science. It's all over the internet."

    And I win! Wheee!

Interesting. Do you expect him to answer with some sort of well formed rebuttal, or should he attempt to cow you with anecdotal accounts of his own eminence? I'm not sure, but let me adopt your tack and simply reply, "Irrelevant".

Do you ever supply evidence to back up your claims?

Just as irrelevant. I never used my experience as evidence, but you know that.

When are you going to present evidence to support your claims?

When I make claims that I say are factual, of course. I've discovered it doesn't matter however.

Yep, you can tell by the fact we nominated and elected a black man twice, and we have more minorities in congress than repubs

    download (1).jpg

Before 1900 Republicans had seated 22 African Americans in Congress. From 1901 to 1971 they seated a whole two more. Yep, two. Since then another 9 (one of those is a double up - Tim Scott has been in both chambers). These numbers only cover voting members.

In that same period Democrats have seated over 125 African Americans in Congress. One of them went on to become Vice President & one President. Over 50 sit in Congress at the moment, compared to a whole three for the GOP.
