Operation Fast and Furious. Put Obama in jail and then we can consider those under Trump. Until then, sit down and...

If the Democrats don't grow a spine pretty soon, they won't get a second chance! They're acting like either they don't understand the gravity of the situation, or they secretly want what the Republicans are doing.

Notice how all the Dems are just continuing with the hand-wringing repetition of what is happening, how wrong it is, who lied recently, complain complain complain but NOTHING about any solid proposals for ACTION and what they plan to DO about it.

There will be consequences for Bannon to face if he doesn't do as he is told and that's the bottom line. Bannon has to face what's coming to him or he's a plain coward and that's all there is to it. Bannon was subpoenaed and has to face up to it. If not He'll suffer the consequences and that's all there is to it. If Bannon was any kind of a real man, He'd face up and stand by for his roles with Trump and the January 6 incident.

AG Garland was asked today before a House committee undernoath has anyone been arrested and charged with insurrection and he said no. As already cited the FBI has found no evidence of a planned overthrow of the government or some grand conspiracy.

So deal with the facts and evidence.

What new laws we already have laws against insurrection and rioting. What new law requires Bannon's testimony?

Great. So then describe/characterize what happened on 1/6. I call it an attack on government and that is an insurrection.

Not their job, they have no authority to conduct criminal investigations. And to assert they are better equipped than the PROPER investigative bodies the FBI, DHS, DOJ, CHPF, DCPD is absurd. But you admit they are demanding Banning come and give testimony against himself?

Show me the Constitutional support for it NOT being proper for Congress to investigate an insurrection.

Great. So then describe/characterize what happened on 1/6. I call it an attack on government and that is an insurrection. "Evidence of a planned overthrow" is not necessary for it to be an insurrection.

Today's Establishment has become pretty fascist. Watching the Leftists cheer on this abuse of power to create a show trial that is 100% political and then try and imprison those that won't play their game tells us who they always were. Fascists.

"Gravity of the situation"!!!! OMG!!!! They nearly took over the entire U.S.A. Wow .... we dodged a bullet there!

Of course there is. If he thinks he did something illegal he can take the fifth as many before him have.

    It's called a "subpoena", pronounced "sub-peena".

What new law you said is the subject of the "subpoena", pronounced "sub-peena". We already have laws against innsurection of which the FBI has said they found no evidence and AG Garland stated under oath today no arrest have been made for insurrection for anyone concerning Jan 6.

I guess we'll see with the vote. All the republicans spoke about how ridiculous the subpoena was and how he shouldn't be forced to comply. I guess they don't believe in the power of the subpoena anymore.

Obama's Lois Lerner took it and that wasn't even about a criminal investigation. But again thanks for admitting this is unconstitutional.

Why does it require Bannon's testimony? What are they after? We already have the necessary laws in place what new law would be passed?

Never... Sloppy Steve is certainly welcome to show up, be sworn in, and do nothing but take the 5th...

But he's going to show up..

In fact, it looks like the vote is over in Congress...Looks like 9 GQP voted for the criminal contempt as well....

9 people who understand that, God forbid, the GQP every gets control of either branch of Congress, they might also like to conduction investigations into an uncooperative administration... or their podcasters...
