    Just misinformed.

    So 50% of the homosexual male brains resembled 52% of the heterosexual female brains, the other 50% DID NOT resemble those brains.
    And 55% of the homosexual female brains resembled 56% of the heterosexual male brains. The other 45 % DID NOT resemble those brains.

    I used the 13 year old example because of these porn stars who are doing everything in their power to look like a 13 year old child. I drive by a middle school everyday on the way to work and the kids there actually look older than what these porn stars are trying to portray. Its...disturbing that people are turned on by that.

    There are physical traits that men are attracted to that develop on girls at a young age such as breasts. True, HOWEVER, if a grown man is attracted to "cute" 4'10 person with tiny breasts, braces, pigtails, and a giggly attitude then there is a bit of a problem with that...

    The pornography niche that has actors doing everything they can to portray a near prepubescent child, who lacks all of the "woman" features that normal men are attracted to, is huge. It's huge because people are watching that, people are attracted to that, people like that. THAT is disturbing.

    13 is quite extreme, however development varies individually a lot and some 13 year olds are sexually attractive. The onset of puberty decreased significantly over last decades.

    That'd depend on what she looked like, lol - if she had a DD rack I bet you'd 'feel' attracted, but you wouldn't act on it. Once a girl has reached puberty, that's when sexual attraction biologically begins regardless of age. I'd say that adult men who are specifically attracted to young teenage girls probably have a problem.

    I'm not talking about early development or anything. I'm talking about what a 13 year old is "supposed" to look like I guess.

    Like I said I drive by a middle school everyday on my way to work, and many of these kids look like full grown adults.

    Perhaps, and that too is a problem. But for me simply knowing that they are young is a huge turn off and makes me feel very uncomfortable. Men are biologically attracted to things such as breasts. And sadly many young teenagers are developing such qualities at a young age.

    That is why I emphasized the word "cute". Many of these porn stars are making themselves out to look like near prepubescent children. I'm not talking about a girl who looks like a woman. I'm talking about a woman who looks like a full blown child. And since its such a huge market it means that so many people are attracted by that, which is like you said, a problem.

    I worry how some of you parents would feel if your kids (of either gender) brought home a much older person of the same gender.

    Are you talking about what biology dictates what 13 year olds should look like or what society has determined what 13 years olds should look like?

    Doesn't this contradict your theory about men being attracted to prepubescent appearance? Young teenagers are trying to look like full grown adults because most men are attracted to adults (or at least adult characteristics). That isn't to say that some youthful characteristics aren't attractive too, subconsciously reflecting health, longevity and maybe an element of an innocent to be protected that can trigger our biological instincts. We try very hard to fight them with social convention but that can only work so far.

    I don't pretend to be an expert on the grubbier end of the porn spectrum but I do think this kind of thing is reflected in many of the actresses and singers in the mainstream media - youthful but very much adults (at least visually).
