Any Muslim who is willing to move to or to stay in the "great Satan" (America) s probably not quite as radical, on average, as the average Muslim in most, say, Muslim-majority lands. American Muslims are an enigma, to some degree. Stop looking at American Muslims to see what Islam is really like. If they don't crucify as punishment, then they are less of a true Muslims, since it clearly says to crucify as punishment. Yes, their religion instructs them as to the proper number of stones, even or odd number (look it up, I'm not kidding you), to use when wiping themselves on the toilet, but does NOT instruct them that slavery is wrong, that beating wives is wrong (Q4:34 says to beat them), that killing gays is wrong.....I guess Allah doesn't understand PRIORITIES very well at all.

 

There are Islamic scholars more educated on the subject than either you or I who interprets those passages differently.
