Several shellackings on Sunday and some great games. Had a lot of fun watching and listening this weekend.

    Same with Mike Vrabel.

Right now I look at the AFC as 2 team race between Pats and Chiefs, with the Chargers maybe looking to be a spoiler

And holy crap Oakland is in full on Suck for Bosa mode it seems, trading a first rounder for Amari Cooper.

Interesting how Monday Night Football begins with a musical intro by right wing traitor Hank Williams, Jr who made his hatred for Obama a big part of his stage shows. It will be recalled he was previously suspended for calling him a Nazi. Just imagine if it had been a liberal who attacked Trump - such a person wouldn't last very long on TV or on radio. Cases in point - Dixie Chicks & Kathy Griffin. But that's right wing political correctness for ya.

As for last night's MNF, once again the NY Giants proved what a poorly organized group the team is under its present management. They lost a winnable game 23-20 to the Atlanta Falcons as QB Eli Manning wimped out - in fact, the coach was shown shouting at him "throw the ball!'' As always, they lack a solid blocking FB like they had in the old days with Maurice Carthon and Eli is forced to make throws while surrounded by charging DLs. Like last year the Jints are starting with a record of 1-6 and the rest of the year does not look very promising.

HWJ has played each monday night game this year. When is this breaking news?

Eli's pass protection is non existent. As much as I dislike the guy, I'd hate to be in his shoes. You can't be a QB when there's no one there to stop a pass rush.

Re the drunk Williams, my point being that if he was a lib who attacked Trump he wouldn't be back on air.

As for Eli, again, the Jints need a blocking FB like Carthon but the moronic management refuses to fill this need.

Every person on TV attacks Trump. They do it at awards shows on prime time TV. Who cares? There are libs who hold severed heads of Trump and they are still on TV.

Hank Williams Jr is a country legend who does a great MNF song. Who cares if he doesn't like Obama? The right is allowed to dislike Obama as much as the left dislikes Trump. Quit turning this thread into a political discussion.

The Giants don't need a FB. This isn't 1983. They need an offensive line. Eli has no protection. A FB is great for the run game, and for a play action game...but an offensive line is MUCH better.

I know. The Chiefs beat us like a drum in week 3. The Chargers usually fold in the second half of the season. However, after the horrendous start we had and getting pummeled by the Chiefs and Ravens, I thought my guys were going to be lucky to have a shot. Now we are in position to win our division and be contenders again.

Do you remember the conversation we had a while back about the Steelers? I hate to say I'm always right ;)

I'm sure you'll win your division.

The Chargers have a week to get Gordon back to 100%. He's the offense and he's slaughtering defenses. Rivers looks good. Honestly I'd be more worried about them than the Chiefs. The Chiefs D has been exposed in the Pats/Chiefs game (Then again, so was the Pats D).

Off topic. There are rumors about Patrick Peterson getting traded to the Pats...

Any word if this is true or not?

I heard Philly was going for him but I would not be surprised if Belachick gets him...You guys always figure out a way to be the best at the end of the season...

I would be surprised if he went to Philly of all places. They are however, desperate. Trying to be the perfect team like last year. It's a rookie mistake for a coach to have that mentality.

Pretty green coach for sure at Philly, but he got it done last year with a second stringer at QB. However old pro genius, Belachick really blew it by benching his best cover guy. I have never seen a Patriot team get so many long third and fourth downs converted and burned deep like that in a big game. However you are right about Philly panicking. They can still easily win that weak division and get it together for the playoffs. Should be interesting to see how it all pans out.

The Pats defense sucked in the playoffs last year. Every game. It was a matter of who would score more touchdowns. Sure as hell didn't help the Pats to bench Butler for a reason I guess we'll never know.

Philly could have started Erin Andrews at QB and she still would have torched the Pats D. Rowe was exposed in the first quarter and they picked on him all game. Easy pickins.

Philly should win their division this year. Be pretty pathetic if they didn't.

Brady put up enough points to win and still almost pulled it out. Benching Butler cost the team the win for sure...But the real story is....

World Series at Fenway against hated LA.....Brings back memories of Magic vs Bird....Russell vs West and Baylor....Boston fans chanting BEAT LA in support of the 76ers.....The only LA team I have always supported is the Lakers...Never liked the Dodgers but they have a really tough, scrappy team unlike some of their former prime Donna sissy teams....I hope it goes 7....I love LA and I really like Boston....

In regards to Peterson, one of the other landing places is the Chiefs and I hope he'd end up here if we can avoid breaking the bank for him. We are also looking to get back some of our injured D, so maybe, just maybe it'll be bad rather than terrible.

The Mexico City Matchup 11/19 between Chiefs and Rams could be a preview of the Super Bowl. That is like a must watch TV game if things continue like this.

I asked the same question in 2007 for the pats' perfect season.

Turns out it's the 9-7 team that beats the better team.

I think the difference will be if the Chiefs can stop the run. If they let Gurley average like 6 or 7 yards a first down run, they'll be in trouble.
