I looked at PA this morning, and Trump was up around 600K. with 65% reporting. Stranger things have happened, but sort of a magic tric from Joe, I don't see him taking PA. Even with all of the other ballets that need to be counted. But hey, I could be wrong. Who knows
Certainly not the runaway that partisans on both sides were certain of. It's pretty fascinating to watch it play out.
It's a sad day when everything you feared 4 years ago... happened today. - Trump calling the election rigged. - Trump claiming victory before the final result is even close to being known. - Pathetic attempt by Trump to involve the Supreme Court because he can't stand losing. Today I ask this question; what purpose was there in voting for Trump in the first place, if a few hours later he calls in the courts to stop the count? Totally invalidates the entire election process. I mean, why show up at a polling-station if the Great Leader has already decided voting is not the most important thing in an election? It's Trumps spit in the face of American democracy. But we all knew it was coming, as far back as 4 years and one golden escalator ago.
Late last night/early morning, here were the main reasons why Biden lost the election; Biden is too old He chose the wrong VP His campaign was mismanaged Now, what are the reasons why Trump may lose the election?
The million outstanding ballots are mail in, and they are still waiting for them all to be received. Those ballots are heavily favored to be blue.
And who set the conditions for these things to even exist in the first place? Ah yes, the bastards who told us to vote early and vote through mail! You think Americans will want to do this in 2024? We've just humiliated ourselves on the grand stage like Trump said, we're now pretty much Venezuela and every other country where the elections are a joke.
If you don't feed the MSM the polling they want, then they won't discuss it and you won't get you warm fuzzy social media shares.
Looking at the possibility of states going into recount. I'm seeing Michigan with 0.3% difference in the vote. If it stays that close, I would expect either (losing) campaign to request and pay for a recount. That state has an "automatic recount" that kicks in only if there is less than a 2,000 vote difference, which is unlikely.
Silly, just a silly take in general. We’re a nation that counts EVERY vote. Not a joke. A model. Just because Americans are impatient doesn’t make it a joke. We had one of our best ever turnouts. We got our youth engaged in our process.
Thanks; but it was just logic that told us that the polling was very nearly total bull crap across the board considering how vigorously Trump was campaigning in comparison to Sleepy Joe Biden. The right uses logic whereas far too much of the Left has got a distressing tendency to heavily favor feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings. The polling companies blatantly working for the political interests of the DNC told leftists what they WANTED to hear and . . . so it goes.
Mail-in isn't exactly what I'd call turnout. Actually, the voting was more or less(save for a few million) on par with the 2016 elections. We aren't "impatient", the rules say the date of the election IS the date of the election. Not Friday or whatever. So yes, it's a Venezuelan style result, like it or not. And I said government cannot collapse and I will stand by that. That doesn't mean I'll lift an arm and a leg for the Biden Administration though.
Actually there IS a reason and the BLAME lies ENTIRELY on the GOP legislature in PA. They REFUSED the DONATIONS from Foundations that would have PAID for more people to be available to do the counting. Take it with YOUR Republican representatives in Harrisburg. They are the PRIMARY reason WHY these ballots were NOT counted last night.
Your constant Partisan fishing is getting old. This thing is close, looks like it's tilting a hair to Biden, but Republican's gained house seats and it appears in the Senate as well so Democracy wins either way.
Surely you can grasp why the States encouraged mail in ballots for this election, right? I mean you have participated in the Covid thread numerous times since the beginning of this pandemic.
No reporting expected from Nevada until tomorrow morning at 9AM. Current difference is 0.6%. There is no "automatic recount" number. Either campaign can request and pay for a recount if they wish. They mailed ballots to all registered voters, and will count all ballots received for the next week. The potential hangup could be that the have to check every mail ballot to make sure no voter went to the polls in person and mailed in their ballot. Hopefully they have a computer system which quickly alerts to "already voted".
I also believed that regardless of the pandemic, we were obligated to do the right thing and hold the elections proper, in the proper order. But even with that, I didn't(nor did anyone else in here, don't kid yourselves) think that the result they warned about for weeks, would actually end up happening. Hence, Venezuela. America completed its dissent into political irrelevance, strapped with a big budget and overinflated politicians.
Another load of baseless drivel. GA has a REPUBLICAN governor. Furthermore the GOP is entirely to blame for the SLOW vote counting in PA.
